Staying at Craigtoun Meadows Holiday Park for our golf trip was an excellent experience. The Eden Lodge we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the golf courses we played. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Craigtoun Meadows was five star in every way possible and I would definitely recommend staying there.
Great site, but a wee bit expensive. I prefer a pitch against the big hedge. My wife says the pitch we had, pitch number 41, should have been cheaper, due to the fact that it's smaller and there's not as much privacy as pitches 22 - 27 against the back hedge. Pitches 22 - 27 are also bigger pitches, so that's obviously why you ask for the length of the outfit on the booking enquiry form. I sometimes use Cairnsmill Caravan Park too and they are £10 cheaper per pitch per night for a fully serviced pitch, including a water tap, electric and drainage. Admittedly, their pitches are closer together and not as well spaced out as your pitches and there's not as much privacy. Thanks.
Excellent immaculate grounds, spotless toilet block and helpful staff.
This is an excellent camp site very close to St Andrews. This was my first time visiting the area and it was lovely. The toilets were excellent and it was very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed having the food vans on the site and the hub was very handy for milk juice etc. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent location for a family wedding. Everything catered for in the caravans and onsite.
Our break was very good the lodge was very comfortable and it was very peaceful surroundings .
Craigtoun was a delightful quiet, peaceful and very clean site. Pitches were large, flat and offered shelter. Toilet block was exceptionally clean at all times of the day.
Site is well placed for getting into St Andrews. We used our car however there is a bus service from the main gate. The local taxi service was well used by other residents. Its a good walk into St Andrews for the energetic. The staff werealways busy keeping the site/ toilet block clean and well maintained. A bug bear of mine is other drivers not adhering to the speed limit and there were plenty of them. Our pitch was large with plenty room for car caravan and awning with access to fresh water and grey waste water drain at side of pitch, no traipsing to a fresh/waste water point. My only criticism of our pitch, no 23, was that it appeared if it had flooded at some point, leaving a sunken area across the centre of the pitch. The staff need to level this area before it gets any worse. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Craigtoun Meadows. An excellent site for visiting the St Andrews area.
