We loved the beach walks, local pub food and friendly hospitality. The site is perfect for walking and exploring the beautiful Devon coast.

The setting was lovely but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable - even the children didn’t sleep well.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Churchwood. We wanted time away from Bristol, but wanted to be close to family at Christmas this is exactly what we got we booked through Booking.com, but next time we will book directly through Churchwood as we needed a accommodation which had an enclosed deck for our two dogs. It’s a short but breathtaking walk to the beach To make our stay even more amazing they went to the trouble of wrapping a small gift and a Christmas card. We really did feel welcomed. We are planning our next stay with Churchwood in the near future. Thank you so much we truly had a wonderful time

We have stayed at Church wood Valley several times in recent years and have always enjoyed the peaceful woodland setting, but on our latest stay we were also pleased with the improved cooking and bathroom facilities and smart decoration.It is an ideal setting for nature walks and enjoying the natural environment . Wembury Bay is an easy nearby walk and a visit there always offers new sights and experiences.

Churchwood is a piece of heaven for anyone seeking peace quiet and staying amongst a woodland filled with natures delights.our visit was the first taken in the autumn.this woodland paradise feels a million miles from everyday life and its stresses.howevee local shop,beach and cafe 10 minute drive away and the sites own beach 10 minute walk. Beautiful walks and views of this part of the devonon coast.Our cabin was spotless and situated amongst the trees and yet easy access for our vehicle and an easy parking g space next to the cabin.The staff are so friendly and almostt like family they cannot do enough for you. W e love it so much we return year after year as they also give a discount if you have visited the previous year .amazing place

We've been coming for about 50 years, every year at least once, and never been disappointed. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Fabulous nature viewable from every lodge. The overall setting is one of the best. We love it and will be back son.

Very simple accommodations with easy walk access to beach and surroundings. Peaceful

Lovely cabin in a peaceful location it really is like living in the woods. We enjoyed many walks in the local area with the dog's taking in the local sights. Jennycliff cafe is a must for a hot drink and cake overlooking Plymouth sound. Dartmoor for lovely walks or catching the ferry over to Cornwall. We will definitely be back
