I thought the facilities were excellent, and the bar and pool made it even better
We stayed for 4 nights in March.Staff were very nice and friendly.Pitch was level but a little small for van, porch awning and car but we managed.Facilities were clean and more than adequate. The view from the site is excellent. The only issue we had was with the access road from the gate up to the touring pitches. It is in very poor condition and so rutted that my nosewheel was dragging.Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.
We had a great time staff were very helpful and so friendly the place was so clean and even though they let us know they had a problem with the pool and workmen on site it did not impact on our weekend celebrations booked again for November
When booking this break we looked at facilities as a main factor. A few days before going we had an email to say the swimming pool would be closed for our stay. I emailed to say how disappointed I was with this but had nothing back or any offer of compensation. This was disappointing as like I previously said we had booked this as a relaxing weekend but 2 of our party planned to swim both days. During our stay the heating would not work. I cannot fault the staff at all. They were out in approx 15 minutes (and it was around 7/7:30am). Restaurant - we used the onsite restaurant. Nice meals. Good value for money and a lovely little place overall. In our caravan there were a number of marks on the carpet - to be expected, but we wiped some and they did come up. There was also a large dent in a door of our caravan - not that it affected our stay but a shame others don’t take care. I would recommend this holiday park to others as staff were friendly and it was a nice stay.
We have stayed here before and decided to book a 2 night last minute break at Bucklegrove, as its open all year round. We had an electric hook up with our motorhome, nice size pitch lovely little break, enjoyed the heated indoor swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and smelling of bleach. All the staff are helpful and friendly.Nice base to explore Wookey and Cheddar Gorge, we went to Weston Super mare for the day. We decided to eat both nights in the onsite restaurant, and the meals we had were great quality and quantity, lovely and hot and really quick service and shout out to chef Chloe for her excellent cooking skills. We will definitely stay again. Thankyou all
Very friendly staff & very accommodating. Any issues are sorted with minutes. It’s aLao great that they anre pet friendly! Only thing I would say is the lighting by the signage as you enter needs looking at. I drive pass it almost every time at night lol I have friends that have already stayed here through my recommendation.
This was our 2nd time here, very quiet,& relaxing. Only negative is,that whilst waiting for our accommodation to be ready, would of been nice, for the club house to be open, before check in time,so we could chill, have a drink, rather than, having to go off site, after a long drive. But,all,in all, enjoyed our stay.Thank you, we're be back!
First time coming to this park and will deffinelty be back! Lovely accommodation and lovely surroundings. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Perfect location for chedder & wells Will be booking again this year!
