The staff was so welcoming when we first went in giving us all the details of things we need to know and giving us directions to places. Where the place is it easy to get to and plenty of things to do around the area. It was such a clean place when we went in with everything we needed to cook and clean. I felt very safe there. It was very good for money. Overall really happy with our little holiday.

This is the second time we have been here & its fantastic small place,clean,staff friendly & helpfulthe bar area is clean,food is great and staff friendlycaravan area is clean tidy quietideal location for visting the surrounding areas ,views are amazing

We had a lovely time and we liked that we had a private garden with the hot tub that had a gate? so we could allow our dog off lead and felt relaxed that we had privacy.The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the hot tub was maintained everyday and the caravan was very clean on arrival and there was a welcome pack of washing up liquid, sponge, cloth etc.There's a pool and bar/restaurant which is nice to have nearby.Was well worth the price and would definitely stay again as it was a peaceful environment.The local area was lovely too and we liked that it was dog friendly and not far from cheddar gorge or the beach. It was definitely one of the nicest holiday parks we've been too especially the hot tub cleanliness and is good value for money! Thankyou for a lovely stay 😊

The park itself is really well laid out so that it doesn't feel as big as it is and the pitches are nicely level, maintained and placed away from each other. The toilet block in the The Grove field is dated like the other reviews say but they were always clean, even in the middle of the night and despite the rain and thunderstorms, and were nice and warm and never really busy either. We didn't visit the pool but the clubhouse was great. We went on a Saturday evening when there was a guest singer. It was really busy and we decided to take a crazy little dog but the staff were genuinely amazing. They moved a little table for us and were so happy to help in anyway. The food and drinks were all reasonably priced at the clubhouse and could see that it would be great for families too. We went for breakfast at the local pub (we drove because of the weather but you can walk) and it was lovely too! I would definitely go back.

My husband and I have holidayed at Bucklegrove for a couple of years now. Firstly with Hoseasons. It has been great to see the Swimming Pool outside painted and the park itself looked in great order.We stayed in Blakely Lodge last week. We were amazed at the space and the lovely views, despite someone flying a rather garish flag. But, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the lodge and attention to detail. Because the decor and furniture are light it showed marks/stains.A table lamp in the lounge would be good, and a screen for privacy when using the hot tub would be a good idea.On a positive note, beds were made perfectly, carpets were clean. The hot tub was great!

Nice friendly staff. Good location with a regular bus just outside the camp. Facilities where clean, well maintained but dated.

Good bits first, reception staff very welcoming. The bed in the caravan very comfortable and the linen all felt fresh and clean. Unfortunately the caravan was not very clean and the seating in the lounge uncomfortable. We choose the lowest priced accommodation and expected an older van but did expect it to be clean. We did not speak to the staff whilst there as our stay was only for a few days and we just wanted to enjoy the stay not spend time complaining. The area was lovely, recommend both the City of Wells and Chedder. We did use the pool which was very warm but the changing rooms need some TLC. We did leave a day early.

I think we possibly stayed in the oldest caravan there, it was so outdated. The holiday park itself was lovely, friendly, clean and quiet. Nicely located approx 8 minutes from the main street of Cheddar.Sadly our stay turned into a nightmare when at least three caravans of Indians turned up. Not only were they going between vans, but they were so loud each evening in a big group, having karaokes in the van and partying until midnight, despite there being a quiet time from 10pm -7am. We had all doors/windows shut and a film on the television but they even drowned that out. It was such a shame as it's put us off now.

There were some things really good about this site. Very accessible, nice size pitches, lots of space for the kids to run around and safe with not too many cars. Things were mostly clean and tidy, and check in was straightforward. Some things I found challenging- the swimming pool was extremely overcrowded with kids being very poorly supervised by their adults. We had a 3 year old who we wanted to enjoy the small pool but it was full of older children splashing and pushing whilst their parents ignored them. We had children running through our pitch constantly and walking over our stuff. There were older kids on bikes with bottles in to make them extra loud who were cycling around late at night and the site was so so noisy until 10pm when it finally went quiet. It was just all a bit too rowdy for us with too many kids left to play around unsupervised.

Stayed here a few times over the last few years, nice site in a good location, very friendly staff, facilities all clean, kids loved the pool, the food at the bar was really good and good entertainment in the evening.
