Lovely stay at Bucklegrove camp site. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. All facilities clean and tidy. Bar and shop Dog friendly, a real plus. Lots of things to do near the site, but a car was needed.

Bucklegrove is in a good location, the food at the pub is nice and the park kept our little one entertained.Our caravan unfortunately had a funny smell which was very off putting. We aired the caravan all weekend but couldn't get rid of it. Having booked a superior caravan we were quite disappointed.Our friends were staying in a lovely caravan next door and if we had that one we would have been happier.Staff are friendly and were happy to help.We left a day early because there were noisy children on the Saturday night meaning our little one wasn't sleeping. The smell also contributed to our decision. It was so strong we had to wash everything that we took with us as it clung to all our clothes.

April 24 - First outing in motorhome, relatively quiet but pitch 109 sits behind a daytime busy lane. Amenities dated but usable. Close to local attractions, hit and miss bus link.

We stayed for 9 nights just after the Easter school holidays on an all service super hard standing pitch. There are plenty of water points around the site so never far away from water if not staying on a service pitch.The onsite restaurant did good food. There was plenty of choice and value for money. Pizza's were great.Showers & toilets were clean and water was hot. We had issue with the electric however it was fixed within an hour or so. Staff are very helpful and friendly.Location is great for for exploring Somerset. We had a great stay and will be going back when the weather is hopefully a bit warmer.

Easy to find site with good accessibility and a good location. Comments re staff as above and thought site was well maintained. Good value for what was on offer

We absolutely loved out visit to Bucklegrove holiday park. The staff were extremely friendly and took the time out to say hello to the children Pitches were well tended too and the overally cleanliness of the park was brilliant Thank you for such a lovely weekend, will definitely look to come back

Staff were friendly and helpful really enjoyed the swimming pool.

My husband and I stayed on Monday night in our campervan, we were delighted with the amenities. Everything was clean and in good condition. The food in the club was lovely and the staff friendly.In fact, we enjoyed it so much we stayed again on the Thursday.

We stayed in a 3 bed superior home and we were very disappointed to discover that the whole caravan had a very strong smell of dog. I had not realised that we would be allocated a dog friendly caravan, had I known I wouldn't have booked. We attempted to get rid of the smell with air fresheners but it was deeply embedded into the carpet, if you ran your hands through it, you would bring up a lot of dog hair. We did not bother to report to reception as we knew the park and all other accomodation in the area was full for the Easter holidays, we were only staying 4 nights and we had planned to be out of the caravan most of the time. The grounds are tired and slightly unkempt. My daughter was disappointed with the playpark as it was tiny. The children loved the swimming pool although it was difficult to get them changed in the very small changing areas with little privacy. We had very little interaction with the staff but they seemed friendly enough. We just came away feeling deflat

The lodge we stayed in was very nice however the photographs of the twin bedrooms were a little deceiving. They were only slightly bigger than the types of beds you get in caravans. The kitchen was lovely however there wasn’t all the utensils you would expect. There wasn’t a potato peeler cheese grater, adequate saucepans, or dishes to cook a roast dinner for example. There were just six items of crockery so every time you had a drink you needed to wash up. Just a safety point, the water in the hot taps was extremely hot. My mum burnt her hand when putting it under the hot tap not realising it was so hot. There were no warnings on basins. I informed the reception of this and was told they would turn it down but this wasn’t done. The hot tub was lovely and warm. Shower in one of the bathrooms was lovely but the ensuite bath did not have any handrails on the bath and the fixed shower glass made reaching the taps awkward when running a bath. The sofas only seated 4 people.
