lovely site, extremely well kept and friendly staff throughout

Browns Caravan Park could not be better placed for access to Caton Bay Beach, the Cleveland Way coastal hiking routes to Scarborough and Filey, with the bus stop for both these towns right on the doorstep for the return journey. To cap it all off, if you don’t want to cook, there is the Tow Bar pub which serves excellent food right there at the Caravan Park entrance too. I can recommend the excellent fish and home-cooked chips — I don’t know how they get them so crisp and perfect. The staff were helpful, friendly, and relaxed. Perfect setting to base a hassle-free break of 3 nights on the coast. Our little dog loves the place too, especially the beach where there is lots of room to run and chase her ball.

This was our third time staying here in our motorhome. The site is immaculate. Facilities newly refurbed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ideally placed for beach and regular cheap bus service into Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. Just one slight negative- the showers are extremely hot with no control button for temperature … and I like a hot shower but they were too hot even for me. I would not like to shower a child under them.

This was our first stay at Browns and we were so happy with everything about the site from the first welcome on site and the info pack to the great atmosphere in the Towbar inn .we had a great stay.The site is immaculately clean & well kept and a pleasure to use,all the facilities are top notch and spotlessly cleam, and cleaned & checked several times a day.We were in our tourer and the pitches are very spacous and again immaculete ,we were there mid week and it was very peaceful .We will def be returning soon to this site ,it has all that you need and its proximity to both Scarborough and Filey is a bonus.

All staff friendly, Absolutely spotless everywhere you walked,toilets spotless, easy to find,bus outside site,food at tow bar lovely would recommend to everyone they won't be disappointed. Washing machine,dryer, ironing brilliant

Grundsätzlich ist der Caravan Park sauber, die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich, anstehende Reparaturen wurden umgehend erledigt. Allerdings ist es eben ein Caravan Park mit unzähligen Mobilhomes. Es ist nicht ansprechend oder gemütlich, sondern eher steril.

Lovely quiet site with good pitches, toilets and showers were nice and clean. Staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful as were the staff in the adjacent pub. Dog exercise area was good but make sure gates are closed as the catches need a bit of wiggling. Bus stop is really handy and only £3 pp to get to Scarborough and only 15 mins journey.

Lovely and friendly clean caravan park o lay down side we saw was too many flies when eating in the pub and even drinking maybe a fly zapper on the wall ? Or something

When you find a site that is perfect, for you, you are loath to recommend it because it will be difficult to get back in without booking weeks or more in advance. Browns has a lovely pub restaurant by the gate, its very clean, the toilets are state of the art and dare I say it pleasant. If you have chidren there is a play area which is again well kept. For those of us that tour then use busses to get around there is a bus every 30 mins that will take you both north to Scarborough or south to Filey or Bridlington. If you like walking the beach is down a path, on the opposite side of the main road. This is a site I really enjoy and having been several times before hope to return to again.
