On arrival we were not sure we were in the right place as there was no sign at entrance referencing Broadfield farm. There was no-one to ask at reception but my wife noticed a camp map referencing Broadfield farm and we knew our pitch number so we setup. We were not sure of the positioning on the pitch so we setup as we normally do with pitch marker on corner of caravan but found out later we should have put outfit in middle. Not a problem as the site was mainly quiet during our stay. We were not sure of where th waste water and chemical toilet points as no signage but found someone to ask. On arrival there were WiFi engineers on-site installing new WiFi system which did not become operational for us to use until a couple of days before we left. The original WiFi was available but signal was poor and could not really use it. The new WiFi system did not seem to have a daily/weekly rate only monthly so we did not use it. Seems like the site is being developed, so should improve in time.
Lovely family run site. Everything was clean, lots of money spent on the facilities, with what looks like more work being done. A walk down the hill into Saundersfoot which is really pretty. Used as a base for Tenby which is a 2 mile walk but we taxied. The view from our plot was stunning. The only downside was an issue with WiFi that was being dealt with, so would imagine is all good now. Couldn’t use the restaurant as it was prepping for the summer season and wasn’t open, but definitely would have had it been. Can’t say if it’s expensive or not as we don’t do much motor homing but it served our needs perfectly.
This is a beautiful site with a fantastic location. The food at Janz is amazing and the staff can’t do enough to make everyone feel welcome. It’s such a shame that some of the static owners spoil this atmosphere for camping guests by having an entitled disrespectful attitude towards the short stay guests.Threatening guests who are trying to be helpful towards staff was out of order, static owners should welcome the income short term campers bring to the site. There is a large group of us that would return regularly if the static owners were a bit more warm and welcoming.
Absolutly excellent site everyrthing is spot on the place is an absolute pleasure to stay very clean and such nice surroundings very friendly staff and extremely helpful . Highly recommended to all 👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏
Great site, good pint Fantastic view. Facilities are good and I believe they are still working on them. Could do with a motorhome service point ( may be part of the work)
The site is very clean and well located to walk into nearby Saundersfoot. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The pub and restaurant onsite again was clean and great quality. The food is faultless and very tasty! It was a shame that there wasn't food served during the week (but we totally understand why given the low numbers on site). This could be more clearly advertised on the website or Facebook page though maybe. Same with the bar. That was shut most nights by 7pm because of low numbers. My only other area for improvement would be the washing up facilities. Progress is definitely being made as there were none when we visited in May, but the ones that have been built are exposed (not fun in the Welsh weather) and the water was luke warm. Price is pretty average for the area, but you may get more bang for your buck elsewhere. That said, if you do stay, you will have a pleasant time. The walk into Saundersfoot is nice, but a very steep incline. Not for the faint hearted.
A good weekend at Broadfield, the site was well maintained, the showers were nice and warm and all the staff at Jan’z bar / restaurant were very friendly.
A very nice site with the facilitates always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. Live music on the Friday evening was a bonus as was the short drive to the nearest beachPitches were spacious and the addition of a recently installed washing up area made things much easier Unfortunately the kitchen was closed during the majority of our stay due to staffing issues but that can't be helpedBooked to return in August , hopefully the weather will be as good as during our recent stayWould absolutely recommend the site and look forward to returning
on arrival we nearly missed the site as the sign for the caravan park is so small ,all we could see was the sign for the resturant which we knew was on the site, our biggest complaint was the toilet block for the touring park,i used the block on the first day, one of the cubicals was left in a terrable state by some excuse for a human being leaving human waste on the seat which was still there the next day so hadent been cleaned,we also noticed that there was no written record in the block stating when the block was last cleaned, complaints over i have to say all the staff where polite and very helpfull,we had a superb sunday lunch in the restarant which was delicious, the site was exelent with great sea views, i will use this site again.
We will definitely come back. When we arrived somebody had pitched on our alloted pitch. The member of staff couldn't do enough to help which we really appreciated. It's a lovely site within walking distance to Saundersfoot which has an amazing beach. Thankyou all
