I had high hopes for this campsite after reviewing their website – how wrong I was. When we arrived and eventually found the check in, there was no welcome just do you know your pitch number. Then I was told to just find the pitch and set up. There was no greeting, no directions, no explanation of facilities, or where to find things. From the website it all looks good, but the facilities are poorly designed and there are an inadequate number of toilets and showers for the number of people on the site, which wasn’t full at the time we were there. The design of the showers is also poor – no place to put your shower stuff, no seat, no curtain…... The rest of the facilities were poor and there didn’t seem to be anywhere to empty a motorcaravans grey waste. Overall, the site is overpriced for what it is. Other campsites I stay at, with the same price point, are much better. They oversell and underdeliver. The weather wasn’t good and there had been a lot of rain before we arrived, and ou
Absolutely loved our stay at broadfield Farm.Fantastic views over Saundersfoot on the pitch and the garden in bbs bar.The Sunday lunch in janz restaurant was outstanding. We'll definitely be returning to this site. 5 stars.
Beautiful 😍 views good pitches needs improving with pot washing area but I understand it's work in progress shower s and toilets need more regular cleaning also mop etc left in shower for people to use after use bar with entertainment is good place to go
Camped in the 50mph Winds and rain. Grass was very muddy but that’s no fault of the farm. It certainly didn’t stop us having the best time. Such a friendly site. Showers and toilets very clean. My only critique was the washing up station. Water wasn’t very hot and no shelter. Not fun washing dishes in the rain. Apart from that we had a great stay. Will definitely return
This was one of the most expensive and probably worst sites we have stayed at. The facilities are very poor. We saw no evidence of anyone cleaning the toilets and shower facilities which were filthy; there was continually toilet paper and faeces all over the toilets (don’t dare to lift up the toilet brush 🙈) and grass, sand and whatever in the shower areas. There were no brushes available to clean the showers. The dishwashing ‘facilities’ were just 2 sinks out in the open.We were unsure who, if anyone, was actually running the site. The clubhouse is very nice with very good and friendly staff; the restaurant only seems to open at the weekends. The costly fees can only be for the location. We will not return.
Great site with a perfect location, close to both Saundersfoot and Tenby. Site is clean and well maintained, including the toilet/shower block. The on site pub/restaurant is great with a good park to keep the kids busy.
The good... the facilities are good and clean. Showers are warm & were never busy despite the sure being full. It's in a good location near Saundersfoot & Tenby with lots to do in the area for kids. The pub onsite had a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices & plenty of seats in/outdoors, kids play area easily seen from the beer garden/deck.The bad... It's a very cramped site and the pitches don't have boundaries so you don't know how much space you have to setup. It's very busy, you can hear conversations between tents, let alone when someone puts music on. There were too many cars on the pitches, it felt like a car park at times, despite the rule of 1 car per pitch it was clearly not monitored so given how little space there was due to the cramped pitches & cars there is no where around the camp site to let the kids play out the front of the tents. The pitches were sloped sleeping wasn't great & trying to cook/boil things wasn't easy as the pots/kettle slip or can't be ful
Absolutely love this campsite, the staff are so friendly and relaxed, this is our 2nd visit and we absolutely love it here. The shower block is lovely and clean, the clubhouse has such a warmly feel and the kids love the wooden park. Ideal location to saundersfoot also. Thank you
First impressions were good. ProsVery tidy site, great view, over saundersfoot bay. Perfectly located within reach of anywhere you need to go. Clean toilets and shower facilities. Great pitch sizes, water point and electric hook up were within close proximity. Nice little playground and field area for the kids to play, but only really for small kids. ConsRestaurantWasn't open the whole week we were there, I'm sure this was due to improvements and it's not strictly Broadfield farms fault. BarIf you're super social and comfortable being in a relatively small bar that you can't hear yourself in because the music and jeering is so loud, it's great. Unfortunately whilst we're sociable, it wasn't somewhere we'd want our kids to be so we didn't even buy a drink. Then came the noise at kicking out time, which on Saturday was 1am meaning getting woken up and then no sleep until around 4am because of everyone carrying on the party. This carried on throughout the week
The campsite was great, and I would recommend to others but perhaps not beginners as it is basic. The showers need a bench inside them to put your clothes etc otherwise they get soaking on the floor.
