Ballyronan Caravan Park is part of the marina complex and is situated on the picture-perfect shores of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland. To compliment the facilities there is also a special Woodland Nature Trail 'Ballyronan Wood' which through specific pathways, viewpoints and information signage highlights the natural beauty of the area.
Bird spotters are spoilt for choice as a ramble through the 5 acre woodland on site boasts views of swans, grebes and tufted ducks. Caravan and Camping at Ballyronan Marina is available 17 March - 30 September.

Stopping over after visiting Seamus Heaney HomePlace: a short drive away. Helpful staff at reception, which is by the campsite not where the sign indicates. Very good facilities and a lovely spot on the Lough with a nice woodland walk beside. The helpful welcome email could be made all the more helpful by explaining where reception is and is not! Thanks for the stay.
Lovely situation on Lough Neagh. Very friendly and helpful warden. Clean toilet and shower block. Quiet at night.
A lovely place to stay near the Lough-very quiet when we were there-not to many others about. The village of Ballyronsn nice with enough pubs and cafes and there is a nicecwalk through the woods bear the Lough.
Marina and park area were lovely and well kept lovely walks within be forest … cafe and ice cream shop were an added bonus as was the Chinese … a short walk to the Main Street where there are a few pubs and a shop… camping toilets were clean and well maintained but my only complaint was the showers did not have a lockable door and instead just a shower curtain this made me feel really unsafe and uneasy so I used the disabled shower instead which had a lockable door… the outer door to the toilet block did have keypad which campers were only given the code to but on the weekend we stayed it was constantly left on the snib by other campers … I feel in todays society a shower curtain is not adequate from a safety point of view …. Myself and my teenage daughter in particular felt extremely uncomfortable with this. This would be the only negative I have regarding this site but admittedly it would put me off booking again. If this was changed I wouldn’t hesitate another stay here.
Great site on very good location and the staff were very helpful. We were disappointment to find that people were allowed to have washing hanging out to dry all over the place. On our second day 5 caravans arrived and they used the washing machine constant to wash lots of rugs from their vans. One of them had brought their own washing machine and had it going on the tarmac. It made the place look as if it was a permanent living space for travellers. On the plus side the site is well laid out surrounded by trees which meant it was sheltered. The facilities and toilet/ shower block are very good, clean and well looked after. It’s a beautiful place and we will be back and it would be good to know that someone has read my comments and done something about where people can hang out their washing because it was even on the rails outside the toilet block. Maybe if people had to pay for using the laundry facilities they would use them less. The site was a bit expensive too.
This is the only poor review I have given. It is dated, dirty, it had not been cleaned properly for months, hand driers don't work, no paper towels, showers do not have any mops ( so you can't clean it for others after yourself), the smell of drains is obvious. If I had not paid upfront I would not have stayed.Expensive at £35 per night, not worth it.
Initial greeting by staff was wonderful and welcoming.Site has one of the best locations I have been at. Nice walks, clean and warm toilets/showers, cafe lovely, and village facilities within walking distance. Can’t wait to have the chance to return.
Great site, lovely walks , nice and peaceful we will be back
