The campsite is excellent in every way! Facilities are first class and the staff are very helpful We will definitely be back again soon
Returned to this wonderful site and as ever we were not disappointed. Beautiful setting, welcoming staff and excellent facilities.
This site was recommended by friends who are regular visitors there. We weren't disappointed. It's only a few minutes from the centre of Inverness, located on a hill with great views across to the Black Isle, especially from higher up pitches. All facilities are good, from toilets and showers to laundry and chemical waste disposal point. They do great pizzas on site too - you need to pre order, are given a collection time and need a good appetite as they are big👍The only slight negative from our own circumstances was the location of the grey waste drain on our fully serviced pitch. It was at the very front corner, so the full length of our caravan away from the drain point. We overcame this by using our wastemaster, but It highlighted a need to look at our options for connecting grey waste on such pitches. Not a site problem, it was ours, but remember to take a good length of drainage pipe. The great weather during our short break added to the location. Can't wait for a return visit
I would definitely book Ardtower again the site is lovely the pitches are large and spacious, the toilet and shower facilities are modern and excellent very clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful
Friendly staff, very well kept site. Pizzas very good from cafe. Good showers, clean and nice hair dryers. It was the most expensive site we stayed at but alas, the high speed wifi advertised throughout the site, didn’t work for us.
A perfect quiet facility, I would highly recommend for families! A few things to be aware of, the AstroTurf pitches aren't quite large enough for a 4m x 4m tent, our tent is listed by Coleman to be 4x4 and we had about 30cm hanging off the side, wasn't a problem but not ideal. Would highly recommend bringing pile driver tent pegs if camping on the astro pitch. The astro was excellent however, very warm and no dew to contend with when packing up in the morning! We missed being able to have our wee firepit as no fires or BBQs are permitted but understandably not a possibility.
A very clean campsite, toilets and shower's were good. The only issue I experienced was, the distance between the pitch in front was minimal, I drive artic's but I couldn't get the caravan off the pitch without the motor mover, it was so tight.
I say awesome for lots of reasons. This is a quality site which offers a wide range of services & the guy's running it, Elaine, Tosh, Kate & their team are outstanding people who go that bit extra. The facilities are quality & there is a real sense of attention to detail. The location is perfect for all adventures, Inverness, Fort George & Culloden Battlefield to mention a few. The site is situated with stunning views of the Moray Firth & hills beyond. I was made to feel safe & welcome.
Excellent service with an amazing view. Definitely be back
Absolutely lovely site and views but wasted by lazy dog owners, we had a lovely location, but unfortunately, although this site had a dedicated dog run, very few people actually used it, they chose to walk there dogs in front of the row we were located to let there dogs do there needs, not nice for us sitting having breakfast, this is the lawned area right in front of a row of motorhomes and caravans, were young children play, we did complain but we're basically told that as long as the dogs were on a lead it was fine to do there business anywhere, the final straw was when I was leaving and started rolling up my hook up cable, and discovered a dog had left diarrhea on my cable, obviously we would not return, another small point is the hose to fill our fresh water tank is not long enough.
