Terrible place pod smelt like a bad dog kennel with overpowering smell of bleach could not stay went home did not stay.waste of £109

Lovely views Bistro great only thing let’s site down was the toilet and shower facilities

Let's start with the positives, great location, peaceful apart from the road noise. Great food in the bistro at a reasonable price. Now the not do good, 2 toilet blocks but only 3 showers for the whole of the camping and pods site. Tried to shower in the morning at 9am only yo find them being "Cleaned". Why would you try to clean a toilet and shower block at its busiest time. I say cleaned, more like a quick wipe around with a wet cloth. Shower themselves are quite small with very little space for hanging things off the wet floor. Extractor fan not Woking very well so windows open which then blows the shower curtain onto you when you shower. Access barrier gad a mind of its own wether it would open or not. Staff driving around site in buggies on the phone not concentrating on driving. Such a shame it could be a really fantastic site with just a few little improvements.

Would highly recommend Abbey Farm. Second year returning for non electric pitch. Site is well looked after.

Lovely site and views lots of walks not far from Llangollen, bistro served great food and lovely staff, nice clean warm showers and toilets we had a great time.

Great campsite but need to be allowed fires. Maybe you could offer your own fire pits to be used by campers and so you could control it that way

We came here for our first camping holiday and stayed in a standard pod. The pod was a lovely size for a cot and blow up bed and enough space to have a little play mat out for the baby. We ate at the bistro and the lady who worked there was lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately, the light in the pod broke for the majority of our stay which was inconvenient especially with a 11 month baby. My husband went to reception in the morning to ask about getting it fixed and they said that they would send someone out in the day to fix it. When we came back late afternoon from being out, it still hadn’t been fixed. We then spoke to the lady in the bistro who contacted someone else who then came to the pod for 8pm and could not fix it. We were given a little light which was ok but was still a struggle to see what we were doing when getting up in the night with the baby. Complete miscommunication from staff at the park and a little frustrating for us. Would have been nice to have an apology.

We booked for 2 night in a deluxe pod as a family of 4. The pod itself was clean and well equipped & the onsite facilities were great. The bistro gives an excellent option for food & drink and the setting of the site itself is lovely.
