The bathrooms were never clean any time I used them. Showers were no more than a trickle of water.
We have stopped here several times but obviously not for a few years as firstly no one was answering the phones to book a table at the bistro ,we decided d get a table but was very disappointed with the menu, very limited,I had to have a burger as nothing else I really liked, and I never eat a burger out ,it was nice but it’s definitely not a bistro ,the food used to be fantastic home made food and a good selection. Not sure why but decided to have Sunday lunch, the roast chicken was a breast and so dry,we had extra cauliflower cheese with hardly any cheese, the carrot and sweed was way over peppered and the cabbage was way to salty, the yourkshire puddings were burnt ,when I was finishing I found a hair in my food ,but didn’t bother complaining as I know all would have been said was well you eat most of it,well I didn’t my husband did as it possibly was the worst sund lunch I have ever had,it’s the easiest meal to cook,I don’t know how they got it so wrong !The campsite was great !
Should be more ahowers and toilets when busy they are not cleaned enough
Stayed at Abbey Farm on many occasions. This bank holiday weekend was particularly busy. No hot water in the showers or for washing up. The toilets were constantly a mess with toilet paper on the floor etc. Even though disappointed it would not stop us booking another camping trip here as we have had many good holidays previously.
Could be better, was no hot water in the shower, toilet and shower facilities wasn't very clean, however seen someone cleaning them often, it's just probably that campsite was nearly full with lots of people who leaves mess after themselves. In general it's a good campsite.
Cold showers all the time…Not acceptable.Noisy campers everywhere after 10:30pm and starting again at 7:30. That’s a people problem not a campsite problem I know, but where is the warden enforcing the noise policy?Sort those out and we’ll be backLovely site otherwise.
Love Abbey farm, stay with family and friends age range from 8 - 71. Always a great time. Toilet situation could be a little better, but overall good it’s camping so can’t complain. Would love a fire pit. Stayed here many times, will be back soon x
Everything was perfect accept the toilets/showers. They were dirty, the water was either scolding hot or freezing & the pressure was awful. For the amount of people staying on site there are just not enough toilet/showering facilities.
Always have a great time when we visit Abbey Farm, we will be back very soon 👌👍🏕️🍻
We stayed over the bank holiday.very busy.toilets were always dirty.broken toilet roll holder.not enough facilities for the amount of people .very noisy after 12.30.we did report it.
