Our plan was a weekend in our motorhome in or near to Belfast, the toilet block is not open as it's out of season which suits us fine as we are self contained just needing a safe secure place to park for the weekend it's £9 a night for this aire service which I would prefer to use all year round as it's all we require, post April it reverts to a normal camp ground and the price increases. The bus service to the centre of Belfast is regular and a taxi after hours is £12 from the centre of the city, not too bad Locally there is plenty to do and some good walks, we enjoyed our stay and will return

"Great location to visit Greenway and ice bowl"

Very well kept site, quiet and secure (although we did notice the pedestrian gate wasn't always locked - needs to be pulled tightly behind you). Great price and Location, so close to restaurants, cinema and the ice bowl as well as the comber Greenway with cs lewis square just 3 miles away. Our only complaint (which really isn't the Park's fault) is the local boy racers blocking the road in the evenings under the tunnel from the ice bowl. Not causing any trouble but a little intimidating. Also noticed some youths hanging around the bridge from the site to the Greenway throwing stones at passers by. Not sure what the council would be able to do about this though.

"Aire de Service"

Very happy with location, attentiveness of staff both on site and at the Ice Rink, only issue was that I could not locate the grey water disposal point but then I did not search too hard.

I know it is off season but it would be great if toilets where accessible within the site. Shower room could also be open, and charge a little extra. Also, keypad for large gate is difficult to find when dark (left side of large gate within hedging, maybe have a light placed over it). Small gate did not open.

"Ideal location for visiting Belfast"

We tried this site having found it on the web and we were pleasantly surprised. Generous pitches with individual water, waste and electricity. Didn't see rubbish bins (didn't need them) but presume they are there as the site looks well maintained and serviced. The pitch number markings are a little faded so we were concerned to pick the correct pitch but it was not busy so not a problem either way. Definitely worth a return trip and ideal for touring the area or as a stop off heading to/returning from the North Antrim Coast.

"Not true"

They say there are services and there are no toilets nor showers. When I called they say go to the ice bowl but there was closed at the time we arrived and when we woke up. A disaster.

"Nice campsite close to Belfast"

Mr P O'Leary - Stayed with family, Dec 2019

Nice tidy secure site. It’s only a £10 cab ride to Belfast city centre. We went for the Christmas markets. (V good). You are walking distance to the Dundonald ice bowl (ice skating, climbing centre) and our children love going there.
