Second time we have camped here for 3 nights over a bank holiday. Encouraged two other families to come at the same time which made for a brilliant weekend. Love the camp site, perfect for our two little ones (5 & 7 years) to be free to run/scoot and explore. Showers lovely and hot and always clean. Brilliant extensive outdoor play area and indoor play area, pizza on a Saturday evening, and the mill stream to paddle and pond dip. Just a pity some areas are looking a little tired and unloved (circular walk around the paddocks/stream/bridge.
The sire and facilities are very good. Having the farm facility to entertain the children is a bonus.
No proper facilities for empty your waste water or toilet waste I tried but near impossible if your not a strong person the few days we spent on your uneven site expensive no good for anyone with walking disability’s water supply’s to far away from caravans
What a great place to spend a few days wether it is for a peaceful relaxing time to just unwind or have a wonderful time going around the the mill or play time for the kid's the cafe is great and the staff are all ways pleased to see you.
We were the only campers there which was cool. I really can’t give any representative feedback because I imagine it’s quite rare for that to happen. The A1 and A47 are very noisy which wasnt very brilliant but some people are affected by that and some not. No issues with any of the facilities, well maintained and functional. Price was good for the pitch itself but the farm access was pretty expensive so I didnt purchase it.
Staff amazing, site beautiful and always ready to return.
Really lovely stay with family and friends with big pitches and plenty of room for children to play safely. Great to have the farm and playground so close so we could enjoy a day out without getting in the car. The toilets and showers were limited in number, separate and far away, located at the main entrance to the farm which felt a bit strange when going for morning shower while people were arriving for the day. Food at cafe was disappointing. Could really do with a small store selling milk, eggs and local produce.
Facilities were very good like the washing up area, access to drinking water, being able to recycle rubbish, walks for the dogs. Loving the new wild showers but could do with 2 hooks either side of cubicle and the water running a little longer before cutting out. Toilets were very clean and continually kept so.Disappointed in the site shop as weren't able to buy fresh bread and feel opportunity missed in not stocking local produce - this was commented by other campers; meant some people popped to the local fuel garage.Site is very accessible from the A1/A47 however the compromise is that if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction the road noise is not conducive to a good night's sleep but still wouldn't put me off from going again.Well run, thoughtful campsite.
The camping at Sacrewell is superb with excellent toilet and shower facilities as well as plenty to do on the farm for young children (and not so young too). The site itself gives plenty of space for the pitch and has easy access to the farm and surrounding countryside. There is a local petrol station with a Costa machine for those needing an early caffeine fix while Peterborough has excellent camping stores for those who've forgotten supplies.
I am so happy I found this place, it’s so clean, spacious and well looked after. The toilets and showers were always immaculate, plenty of them and lovely and warm. The actual farm and play areas were perfect, so much to explore we stayed for 4 days and managed to see it all. Prices are very fair. We all loved it so much we will be back. Only very small comment is you can hear the A roads and church bells so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper
