This area is a large camping field situated in the same area as the Ribbon Lake. This area is perfect for anglers and campers of all ages wanting to enjoy back to basics camping with beautiful views across the Ribbon Lake.

All grass pitches are 10m x 10m and are non-electric

All pitches are un-allocated until arrival.

The Rally Field shares a large toilet block with Ribbon Park and Sumners Park

The hire of the Family Field includes exclusive use of this particular part of Sumners with it’s very own mini Shower Block, Toilets, electric hook-up and Fire Pit provided.

There is a maximum group booking size of no more than 10 units and 24 people to stay in the Family Field with 2 nights minimum stay for all bookings.

The Family Field is NOT to be used for parties, day events, illegal or commercial purposes.

We ask that you and your group behave in a responsible manner at all times, any anti- social behaviour will not be accepted. We DO NOT permit Stag or Hen Party bookings at Sumners Ponds.

Use of electric and gas is inclusive as well as bed linen for all beds and sofa beds. Towels are provided, guests will need to bring their own washing up liquid, bin bags etc. A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £26 each per week.

We require a security deposit of £200 for log cabin bookings. This is payable on arrival and will then be returned on departure day.

Our self-catering Norwegian log cabins stand overlooking the Sumners Lake. Fishing on Sumners is included with your stay. Guests are welcome to fish the other lakes which are near-by but will need to purchase a day ticket. All cabin residents have access to the other facilities on site

Swallow’s Hide is another of our fantastic Safari Tents and unlike any other camping experience. Situated on the bank of the Sumners Lake the views through the fully opening bi-fold doors are superb!

The tent itself can sleep a family of four between two bedrooms but is also perfect for couples. The master bedroom comes with a double bed and the second bedroom a set of bunk beds. All the bed linen is supplied.

The living area is furnished with a sofa, tub chair, fold-up dining table and benches and a large log burner. A “smart” satellite television with catch-up services and free Wi-Fi

Also in the living area is a well equipped kitchen complete with, an oven, hob, fridge, sink, microwave and plenty of storage space. Cooking equipment, glassware, crockery and cutlery are all provided.

In the surprisingly spacious bathroom you will find a shower, flushing toilet, towel rail, sink and light-up mirror.

Outside you will find a large BBQ, picnic bench, bait and tackle storage shed complete with its own bait fridge and two lounge chairs perfect for enjoying the view.

There is a private veranda overlooking the Sumners Lake and is ideal for fishing or just relaxing and taking it all in.

Free Wi-Fi is available in Swallow’s Hide. Arrival time for Swallow’s Hide is any time after 4.00pm and departure is before 10am.

Situated on the bank of Sumners Lake, the outlook and atmosphere of this Safari Tent is unrivalled, with the bifold windows allowing stunning views of the lake at all times of the year.

Willow's Hide comes with fresh running water, a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, comfy beds and a bathroom with a flushing toilet and shower. The tent itself can sleep a family of 6 between two double bedrooms and a cupboard bed. Use of electric and gas is inclusive, and all the bed linen and towels are provided. These quirky and beautiful huts are ideal for a quick stop over or a romantic weekend away and are positioned in some of the most stunning areas the Sumners grounds. To top it all off our Shepherd's Huts are run on a B&B basis so breakfast is included each morning.

Arrival and departure dates can only be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays. There is a minimum booking of two nights required.

Although fishing is not included in your stay, all our Lakeside Bell Tents come with their own fishing swims.

All our Bell Tents are a short walk away from our wonderful Ribbon Shower Block and Café by the Lake.
