Close to the motorway. Close to Belfast. Good hot shower block. Washing facilities. No fridge or kitchen but that's ok.Secure. Kids playground next door if that's important.All good

Great little stopover and secure gated site. Handy cafe by gate but check opening times.Site overall clean but if you want us to be picky the toilets and sluice could have been cleaner. Drains were a little smelly but not being too negative we would use again :-)

We were anxious about our stay from earlier reviews so delighted to arrive to a well located, secure and organised site. The toilet & shower block was very clean, also the laundry room. Pitches well spaced and no disturbance from the traffic overnight. The site was full but quiet and the gates kept our vans safe. We did not get chance to use the adjacent cafe but it looked good and was clearly popular. Perfect location for getting the bus, or even train, into Belfast. An easy cycle to Carrickfergus and pleasant alongside Lough in the direction of Belfast. Only 20 mins to the Ferry port.

Super location. Brilliant greenway, cycleway to Belfast. We laways use it as aq base for leisurely cycling.We had been hoping for a good cycleway towards Carrfickfergus with the new road.

A great location, with each site having its own water, power and gray water drain. The showers are excellent, plenty of hot water, with the shower block itself also being heated, which is rare.

Very disappointed with the amount of litter on the site. It wasn't a good impression for the foreign guests staying on site.

We spent a few day here in early April 2026, never again. The council seems to have convinced themselves that because the site is a few miles outside of Belfast (8 miles) that the motorhome community should pay well over the odds for a poorly maintained traveller site! Don't waste your money go to a privately run campsite further outside Belfast.

Great location to get into Belfast.
