Lovely clean site ,just outside Belfast. Only about 12 pitches but are flat and fully serviced. The showers are included in the price and are hot. Bus stop outside the site.
Pitches were very spacious if you aren’t using an awning. Fully serviced which is excellent and security was very good. Road noise is definitely a problem as the Shore Road is busy night and day, but a small price to pay for the easy access to Belfast and the M2 north. The park area and promenade were great for dog walking and there were shops and restaurants close by in Whiteabbey The only issue was the lack of a mop in the ladies showers which meant that they couldn’t be cleaned after showering. The bin area for the campsite and the cafe had overflowing rubbish when we arrived. However these were emptied eventually but the area remained grubby. All in all it was a very good site.
Bus stop right outside, train station short walk away. Good for visiting Belfast. Secure. Cafe at the enterance.
Great facilities and grounds very good . Showers and toilets need to be cleaned better . Overall very good .
Lovely campsite, nice showers and information on desk. Short walk into village. Nice scenery right by the Lough. Fully recommend..😁
The site is easy to get to and away from, about half an hour from the port at Larne and even closer to the port in Belfast. The facilities were clean and serviceable. There is some noise from the main road but it isn't bad and you can always choose a pitch on the lough side. There is a cafe right outside the main entrance though we didn't use it. Seems very popular. There is a bus stop very close to the site but we chose to walk 15 minutes to Jordanstown railway station to take the train into Belfast.
Easy access & very cleanThe ramps in the car park are to big & high
Only negative comments would be:Shower/WC facilities are very dated.Sluice desperately requires ventilation.Apart from this it is a cracking site perfectly located for Belfast and the Stena ferry.
Check in is very easy. Handy location. A lot of road noise but otherwise all good
