Weekend break near Christmas.

Glasgow, Jackie - 30/12/2024

On arrival the code number given to me worked and was able to enter with ease. The overall impression was that the grounds were well kept and tidy. The pitches were short as the back legs of my caravan were on the grass.( 7 metres )Everything was at hand and I was near the facilities.( pitch 5 ) Toilets and showers were clean and there was a chemical waste disposal unit. Great walks along the sea front for the dog and shops were nearby including the cafe at the front gates. The only downside was that I found 2 pm too late for arrival, especially in winter, it really should be 12 -1 pm.Traffic noise is louder at busy periods but not intrusive.

This facility is excellent. No problems booking and they sent the code for entrance via email. The facilities were excellent, heated shower block and plenty of hot water. The site is next to the bus stop for Belfast and a lovely park to walk by the lough. Would recommend to anyone. Well done the council for this facility.

A beautiful well maintained site, toilets/showers are spotless & lovely & warm. Great for motorhomes as bus stops just outside site so easy transport to Belfast or as we did, headed to Carrickfergus for day.White abbey village short walk with great Indian, off licence & Spar, it also has other restaurants & bar. We love Jordans town for walks, watching boats & planes.Staff are great, I had to cancel original booking in July due to my Dad's ill health & staff very kindly let me carry bookings over, I really appreciated that, a big thank you

Weekend break in Loughshore

Tennant, Gary - 14/11/2024

Location of the site is excellent, but its a pity the hedge has grown so high that we could not get a view of the lough. I know it gives some privacy from the playground. We used the cafe for lunch one day its very convenient.

One Night stay

Starr, Greg - 12/11/2024

Nice location, lady on the phone was lovely and booking was easy. Very clean toilets and services. One of the key pads for entry wasnt working, which was a pain at midnight in the dark and the road noise from the first few bays was quite loud, but overall it was fine. The cost for one night was too high for one preson in November (€33), but needed somewhere in a hurry.

Booked for two nights, stayed one! Toilets both filthy and toilet seats broken. Extremely poor standard of cleaning. Have stayed twice before, but next time Wii look for an alternative site.
