We booked online a pitch for one night, booking and payment were simple and without any problems. We received a code for the entrance gate and the facilities, but the gate remained closed when entering the code, no access to the campground. Then thankfully a young girl helped us with her code to come in but no acces to the facilities with our code. Asking around, we noticed that it was obviously a general problem. Another guest had discovered a code that worked, so we and other guests used the same code for the facilities and the entrance door to the campground. As later no code was working for the gate, the gate remained open during the night and the rest of the day. We felt not safe, because there was a public parkground next which was quite frequented.The sanitary facilities were clean and sufficient.This campground is perfect for visiting Carrickfergus Castle (10 minutes by car) or the city of Belfast by train (10 minutes walk to the train station).

Enjoyed the stay facilities. The code allocated did not work and the phone number to ring was not answered as it was Easter holidays. Spoiled things slightly particularly when told later by cafe staff that there has been a problem with this!

Unfortunately enroute to one of our favourite sites for a short break we developed a fault with our campervan. We headed to the site but a number of other faults arose so we headed home a hour or so after arriving, in case we broke down completely so missed out on our trip.We hope to return once we get our campervan fixed as we enjoy each time we visit.

We couldn’t access the park as the codes were incorrect. No one responded to the calls I made. Other guests had to share the codes and then the gate was left open which felt unsafe.

Gate codes didn't work .. people on site visiting helpful too get on... shops people very nice... very nice sites. .... council could have really reply too phone or at least email

It’s ideal for visiting the titanic experience

As a regular mid week visitor visiting our elderly ill relative in Belfast hospital I can commend the park’s peaceful atmosphere and location for easy public transport. A little haven to return to at the days end.

Heated floors in the shower facilities were a first, and excellent. Showers were the best ever!
