Love the lakeside lodges (loads of space and comfy beds) , really friendly staff, grat place for a chilled break with friends or family.

Not used local activities or restaurants.

We had the weekend there and was totally relaxed. We didn't go out and about, just chilled on site. Had a few walks through the trees around the fishing lakes, and had a lovely meal at woodys bar. The toilets and showers were lovely and clean.

Very spacious in the 4 bed lodge. We booked this because we have a dog and the 2 bed doesn't permit dogs, so a treat and above our usual budget. So a treat. Exceptionally clean and a good layout etc. The decor and cracks in the building need attention and look tatty. Huge crack in bedroom. To help guests staying, it would be most beneficial to provide washing-up liquid (we don't all use dishwashers, especially when only using a few items), a dishcloth for cleaning surfaces in the kitchen at a minimum, and possibly a tea towel. I found it hard to leave the kitchen clean after minimal use and a 2-night stay. Thought the price could have included this.

We found the our pitch quite small, the road out the camp was busy which meant we were constantly hearing and seeing cars go by. There seemed to be some kind of event on the adjacent field with campervans which led to live music until 12.30am on the first night and slightly earlier the second night. While the scenery around the park was lovely it was ruined by the smell of cannabis from some of the fishermen around the lake. The facilities were modern and clean. Overall I wouldn’t return.

We booked the Classic Lakeside view Lodge for a bank holiday family birthday get together. We had other family joining us on the touring park. The lodge was spacious and clean with everything we needed and set in lovely surroundings. Woodys bar and restaurant were happy to accommodate a large table for a meal last minute. The only slight inconvenience was only having 1 key for the lodge which did make it tricky when the two families split up in the day.We would definitely go back

We enjoy staying in a lodge at Woodys. It has lovely areas to walk with family, friends & dogs too.

We stopped on pitch 30J fully serviced as we have done before, but this time we kept getting a toilet same from the elsen point which is next the the road near the exit barrier, it may have been down to the rain we had recently had. Apart from that it’s a lovely site & we will certainly be staying again, great bar friendly staff & price of food & drinks are as anywhere else 🍻thanks for another great break 10 out of 10 👍

First stay at Woodland waters, amazing big pitches. We got a bit confused on how to park our campervan as it only gives direction on the guide on where to put the front of a caravan. So after putting up the awning in the dark, we then put it back up in the morning with guidance from the caravan people next door. The lakes are beautiful to walk around and the facilities were lovely and clean. Showers were hot and had everything you need. The restaurant/bar (especially the Sunday lunch) was amazing and very accommodating with a park for the young ones to play in. Staff were very welcoming to the site and helpful.Hopefully will book again for next year as it was very good value for money. There was a wonderful garden centre down the road with lots of things you don't need but buy anyway.

First touring visit good points location of the site is very good lots of places to visit staff were helpful the park was overall clean On site pub very good nice food and comfortable dog friendly is a bonus. Facilities clean overall excellent value for money Negative for us giant ashtrays attached to accommodation very unsightly would benefit own shop on site for basic things as used the garage across the road that was expensive overall 9/10 for us will return .
