Lovely friendly park good amenities lots to do and friendly staff.Good walks for dog beautiful surroundings and a fishing lake which is my personal draw.Nice pub and social area for kids with pool table and table tennis etc.me and my wife love it and always go back and hopefully will do for the foreseable future.

We were really impressed with the sight . Got a perfect pitch fantastic dog walk fishing lake hubby caught a lovely carp . Booked a table in the barn food was delicious staff and customers were very friendly had a great few hours in the pub. Noticed a brilliant play area and soft play for kids . Had a small shop on sight toilets and showers lovely and clean . Will definitely be returning

We stayed at Woodhouse farm with two other families. We have 6 kids between us ranging from 15 months to 4. The play barn was fantastic and catered for everyone’s needs, including the adults being able to bring drinks in from the pub! Lovely staff and food in the pub. The toilet and shower blocks were the best we’ve experienced ever for camping. Locally there are lots of things to do, mother shiptons cave was a highlight.

The best facilities we've ever experienced at a campsite, hands down! The toilets and showers were lovely, modern, and cleaned regularly. There is even a family room with a bath which we didnt need to use on this trip but if staying for a longer period would have been great for the kids. The play barn and soft play is an amazing addition, only £2 per child per day. It was very welcome when the weather was poor and also when we needed to pack down at the end of the trip. Lovely onsite pub with amazing food (took a while to come out but was worth the wait!) Great little camp shop and outdoor play areas too. My only slight gripe is the no gazebo rule, im sure there is a valid reason behind it but we camp as a group with 6-8 small children and having a communal gazebo in the middle of the tents is a must for us. We were eventually allowed to put it up but it was after a lot of discussion and only because the weather was so poor that weekend.... it just seems an odd rule!

We first visited woodhouse farm over 30 years ago with our then small children and always enjoyed our stays, especially fishing with my little boy. The camp site has grown hugely but as always very well run and organised. The pub serves great food and there is lots for small children to do.We came back with our grandchildren and was very excited to show them the fishing lake but unfortunately we were not allowed a permit as we did not have a landing net. The site has become much larger, professional and more formal than our last visit a generation ago. Have to say the standards were as high and pleasing as ever. The domestic lady who services the toilets never seems to sleep she is a credit to the campsite keeping them spotless. Thank you for letting us stay on your beautiful farm

It’s a great set up with great facilities, really quiet on an evening/night and in a beautiful setting. On site bar was great, facilities overall are very good.Our pitch was on the small side for our setup, we do have a large tent with porch etc. however the pitch wasn’t 12m x 8.5m and it was apparent when walking round the site that it wasn’t as generous as other pitches. Bathrooms, toilets are fantastic and are kept immaculate, problem was the taps weren’t great, some worked better than others but I found all the sensors to be inconsistent, and trying to adjust the mixer for hot/cold was almost impossible. Shame because they clearly haven’t skimped when it comes to the fittings.We would definitely stay again but we would request specifically not to be in the same pitch and ensure there is enough room to accommodate our set up comfortably and allow us to park a vehicle on the pitch.

Not our first stay at Woodhouse campsite. It’s great. We take our three grandkids for a holiday here. Excellent facilities,bathroom,showers,disabled facilities.The Barn,pub and eatery are excellent. There is a small onsite shop for essentials.The boys love the indoor play barn with soft play,climbing wall,table tennis,table football and pool table.There is lots of space to play ball games and a great pump track for bike rides.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Will visit again next year.

Great couple of days with family within a superb part of our countryside.Everything from the ultra clean amenities to the pleasant helpful staff and quietness of the park was terrific

Fabulous facilities, the soft play for the children is a great asset as is the little bike pump track. The toilets are beautifully clean. The park is lovely and quiet on a night which is great when you’re camping with small children. If I could make a recommendation it would be to have a bigger park area where the little tractor sand pit area is.

A pleasant site with plenty to do without leaving the site. Getting to the site is a little tricky with a car and caravan along narrow country roads but worth the effort.
