It’s a great set up with great facilities, really quiet on an evening/night and in a beautiful setting. On site bar was great, facilities overall are very good.Our pitch was on the small side for our setup, we do have a large tent with porch etc. however the pitch wasn’t 12m x 8.5m and it was apparent when walking round the site that it wasn’t as generous as other pitches. Bathrooms, toilets are fantastic and are kept immaculate, problem was the taps weren’t great, some worked better than others but I found all the sensors to be inconsistent, and trying to adjust the mixer for hot/cold was almost impossible. Shame because they clearly haven’t skimped when it comes to the fittings.We would definitely stay again but we would request specifically not to be in the same pitch and ensure there is enough room to accommodate our set up comfortably and allow us to park a vehicle on the pitch.

Not our first stay at Woodhouse campsite. It’s great. We take our three grandkids for a holiday here. Excellent facilities,bathroom,showers,disabled facilities.The Barn,pub and eatery are excellent. There is a small onsite shop for essentials.The boys love the indoor play barn with soft play,climbing wall,table tennis,table football and pool table.There is lots of space to play ball games and a great pump track for bike rides.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Will visit again next year.

Great couple of days with family within a superb part of our countryside.Everything from the ultra clean amenities to the pleasant helpful staff and quietness of the park was terrific

Fabulous facilities, the soft play for the children is a great asset as is the little bike pump track. The toilets are beautifully clean. The park is lovely and quiet on a night which is great when you’re camping with small children. If I could make a recommendation it would be to have a bigger park area where the little tractor sand pit area is.

A pleasant site with plenty to do without leaving the site. Getting to the site is a little tricky with a car and caravan along narrow country roads but worth the effort.

We never left the site, been in a camper and it's easier to stay once set up. We could of got an uber to visit surrounding area however always choose to stay on sites unless my partner comes, with it not been too far from home we sometimes take a car. I visited with my 2 children age 4 and 10.It was a lovely site, plots not too close together giving privacy. It was nice to have essentials in the shop but due to not leaving site abit of wider variety would of been nicer, like freezer food, like chips and nuggets or some ready meals. More variety on fridge items sausages may be.I found the Barn was expensive for food. We got take out pizzas x3 chips and onion rings which was around £45. So only ate from there the once. It maybe a separate company, however some sort of discount if staying with yous would be a little beneficial. Overall lovely site will definitely return with my partner and my son would love to go fishing with him. Been awhile since I've done it 🙂 Thanks

We found Woodhouse campsite , clean , tidy, excellent washroom facilities and adequate pitch size .The children enjoyed the fishing and the play parks .The only thing that let it down was the food in the on- site restaurant. The adults chips were greasy and limp .2 people had the steak and ale pie (very watery not much steak ! ) One of the children's meals was very basic.( This was reported to the waitress at the time )If you self cater fully on your pitch the campsite would be highly recommended. The restaurant let it down.

The setting and layout of the site is beautiful and immaculate. The facilities are clean and well kept with plenty of staff on hand continuously checking and cleaning. The booking was simple and efficient, arrival check in quick and smooth. There was a really good family atmosphere across the whole site. Highly recommended camp site for higher end camping.

Good value for money. We have stayed on the site last year with our family. Enjoyed so returned. Had a bit of a panic on our arrival as our booking wasn't there. We wanted Fri to Mon. But we was booked Mon to Thu. They sorted it for us to stay in the seasonal gated part. Which was excellent for us Facilities are great. The bar and restaurant were very good. Once again the staff looked after us. We tried on Fri to book a table of 6 for Saturday but it was booked. However they took our details and rang us Sat morning to say they had a table. The boys (husband son in law and grandson)love to fish. They were successful. We stayed over on the Mon to leave at 4pm to allow more fishing. We will be back
