New and pre-owned holiday homes surround by woodland and endless open countryside

Great campsite for families. Indoor play a great option for rainy days. Kids loved the bike track.
We arrived to check in and the office staff were really helpful and quick with their service. The pitches are large enough for most setups, our motorhome is 7.5m long and fitted easily. The toilet block was very clean and warm with good hot showers. There is a pub on site, selling good hand drawn beers, excellent wines and really good food. Our grandchildren were with us too, they enjoyed the kids facilities which include sand pits, play park and a play barn! We have been four times to this site and will certainly br going back in thr not too distant future!!!
Great pub onsite, however the food serving times need to be looked at again, due to the limited hours of availability. Sundays were limited to 4pm which is a little early. The surroundings of the site offer good walks and varied scenery. Fishing lake is a bonus and a good feature for the site. The site access is somewhat limited and confusing as some roads are unsuitable for large vehicles and caravans, but the owners directions should be relied on rather than your Sat Nab instructions.
Perfect for families, facilities immaculate. Pub warm and friendly. Everything to keep kids occupied, play parks, play barn, very well thought out. Will definitely return, looking forward to some more good weather and we will be back!!
Stayed here with family and friends for early May bank holiday and had a great time. Facilities were clean and well equipped. And the site is well presented and tidy. Staff very polite, cheery and helpful.Pitches are Level, spaced well enough away from others and clean. Had a great time and will return. The only issue I had which is nothing to do with the site was the brown tourist signage from the B6265 signposting the camp site down Winksley Lane. DO NOT Follow the signs and go down Winksley Lane it IS NOT suitable for caravans even though it sends you that way. Coming from the opposite direction when leaving the camp site, the other end of Winksley Lane actually has a sign that states not suitable for caravans. Winksley Lane is a narrow single track road, anything coming the other way and you will be done for. Luckily, our friends who have been a few times prewarned us and I’m so glad they did. We went down Winksley Lane without the caravan by mistake and it was sketchy enoug
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. It was our first trip to the site after a recommendation from a friend. The kids loved the play areas both inside and out. On the sunny days the kids loved the sand pits and park, and on the rainy days they loved the in door soft play. The site facilities were very clean and modern, my only negative was that I was unable to put my full awning up due to the hard standing pitch being like concrete and all my pegs were bending. If we come back to the site I will have had to purchase some different pegs and a drill.Overall a great trip
Location & Directions:The campsite provided alternative directions to avoid satnav confusion. However, we found them tricky, as they were aimed at caravans, not campervans like ours. Clarifying this would help—cars and vans don’t need to worry.Maintenance & Facilities:The site was exceptionally well-maintained and spotless. The shower block was modern and immaculately clean—5 stars. The only letdown was the children’s playgrounds, which looked outdated and didn’t match the overall site quality. Some upgrades are needed there.Indoor Play Barn:The indoor play barn was fantastic, especially on rainy days. We got great use out of it—impressive addition.Staff:The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay.Nearby Attractions:Brimham Rocks (near Ripon) was a fantastic family day out—£7 parking for non-National Trust, otherwise free, and perfect for climbers. Pack a picnic, as the café was busy and pricey.Fountains Abbey (10 minutes away) is stunning—i
Great site in beautiful surroundings with plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. The facilities are spotless and there's lots of open space for the kids to run around and play. The only drawback is that the on‑site shop is very poorly stocked with basic essentials like ice and everyday staples, so it’s best to bring supplies with you or make a short 10–15 minute drive to the nearest towns.
Great spot with a lovely clean campsite and friendly staff. Our electric hookup was broken upon arrival but was replaced quickly once we reported it.The food in the pub was lovely although the serving times are very limited. Kids loved the bike track and the play barn was a life saver when the weather turned. The dog walking area is nice but they could do with an area to throw a ball for a dog. We had a lovely day out at Brimham Rocks which is a short journey away. We will definitely be back.
Staff all amazing, highly recomend
