Arrived late in the day at 6:30pm driving from Devon to be greeted by Michael. What a lovely welcome, Michael took the time to check us in and explain everything we needed to know about the park and where to walk the dogs and where everything was. We pitched up and had two nights at the park and met some lovely people, many it seemed were regulars and knew each other and the staff too. The facilities are great and we wanted for nothing. The shower and toilet blocks are converted stables and barn buildings all done to a very high standard and fantastically clean and well maintained and presented. The courtyard despite, the drought, was full of flower tubs and was an amazing colourful display. There is lots of information presented on boards about walks from the site and places to visit. There is a breakfast coffee shop and the main reception shop has some absolute delights for locally made jams and pickles etc as well as the usual camp shop kit and essentials. We will be back! Lovely quiet location with walks from the door, great facilities, didn’t realise they’d be home made cakes, preserves and pizza (it was a BH when we visited). Shower and toilet block were lovely and very clean and warm. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Have already recommended the site to friends.

Nice spacious camping area, facilities a few minutes walk away but very clean and warm. Hosts are very pleasant. Very good for walking in the area.

Incredible campsite with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, lots of things on offer like a little coffee barn and fresh pizzas.What really made it was the outstandingly helpful and lovely owners who we saw several times doing everything they could to support those who were staying here. They were amazing when our car battery ran out as we were due to leave and had to wait for the AA, even trying to jump start our car with their tractor! Proper hidden gem and couldn't reccomend enough.

Great site, well located for Grassington & all the walks in the region, good facilities on site, amazing coffee shop & good pizzas on site.

We stayed for six nights across Aug bank holiday. We loved the facilities and the location is stunning, with views across the Dales and in a farm setting with lovely old stone farm buildings. We stayed in the grass field in our folding camper, and although the field was sloping we were able to level the trailer out, and there are plenty of level pitches. It being a busy weekend, we were very aware of noisy neighbours on both sides with loud TVs etc. We felt this wouldn't have been an issue if more space could be given to pitches, as we were pretty squashed in and felt on top of each other. Every pitch has electric which is unusual and a real bonus as the hook-up pitches in other sites are usually the first to get booked up. Free wifi across the site was also handy as the weather wasn't great so we were able to stream movies while we waited out the rain showers. We found Wood Nook to be a lovely campsite, and we received a warm and friendly welcome from the owner. The shower and toilet facilities were always clean with loads of hot water. We really loved the courtyard area and enjoyed delicious coffee and pain au chocolate from the Coffee Nook, and gorgeous cake from the reception. We hope to be back next year!
