In a rural location, Windfarm Park offers grass pitches with or without electrical hook ups for caravans, camper vans & large tents.
Drinking water points are situated throughout the Park. There is a small playground for children. We have a large modern heated shower block
with free hot showers. Additionally there are disabled/family toilets & showers with baby changing facilities & an under cover food preparation & washing up area with laundry sinks. There are also sockets for hair driers. A chemical disposal point is situated next to the waste and recycling bins. Excellent fishing is available (free for children) in the onsite lake. Bring your bikes – we are at the foot of the Wolds and it is so flat that you can cycle all day! There are many quiet back lanes to explore. Don’t forget your binoculars as sometimes the loudest noise here comes from the birds. Neighbouring farmers have provided areas of wetland habitat to encourage wading birds and wildfowl. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs many educational events during the summer, many aimed at children. They have a visitor centre at Gibraltar Point, just south of Skegness and have other nearby reserves at Snipe Dales and Freiston Foreshore. Quiet beaches (sometimes deserted) can be found 10 minutes south of Skegness at Gibraltar Point or further up the coast beyond Ingoldmells. The nearest pub is the Old Chequers Inn at Croft about 1.9 miles away.
We welcome well behaved pets.

A great campsite, very peaceful and quiet, with everything you need for a little getaway. The pitch size was good size. Originally we meant to stay for 3 nights we ended up staying for 5, the staff was very friendly and helpful with accommodating us for longer and any issues we had which was only one! The toilet and shower block was very clean on arrival, although on our first night 2 of the female toilets were block, informed the owner in the morning as he was unaware and they were sorted straight away!! The site had a nice little play park for the kids and the lake was beautiful. Shops were in nearby villages 5mins drive away, there was also great attractions within a 10min drive to Skegness and 15min drive to Ingoldmells. We will definitely be going back next year!!
We only stayed the one night at Windfarm Park. We paid for fishing prior to our visit but lake was covered in weed/scum so didn’t get to fish. We thought by booking fishing we’d be lakeside but we were not. There was plenty of room on the field we were in and it was lovely and peaceful. Ok for two nights at most but I would wait to see the lake before booking fishing. Site was lovely and clean. Quite a way from Skegness.
Lovely site, very quiet and basic, we came with a 1yr old and 6 yr old and we all loved it. Very close to skeg and ingoldmells.Would stay again
Really enjoyed our stay. Tim was friendly and explained everything about the site .The sea is only 20 minutes.Thank you for a lovely time we will definitely be coming back Alison, Gary and Stanley
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is very picturesque and the shower block and toilets were modern and very clean. The camping areas were very flat and even, making the task of pitching the tent very easy. All in all, very happy and would definitely recommend to others.
Very peaceful and not far from Skegness. Owner are very friendly and the facilities are clean and tidy.
Quite and peaceful site the owner was very helpful we only stayed two nights to help out a family member who lives in Skegness but we will definitely go again for a longer stay
This place is not really in walking distance of anywhere. We werent bothered as we dont mind driving however it would have been nice to jump on a bus or walk to a pub for a few drinks. Its a very nicely laid out site with hedges in between rows of pitches unfortunately though these dont really stop the noise. There was a family in a tent on the row infront of us with a young girl (possibly around 8years old) who had a tantrum on two nights of our stay refusing to go to bed & shouting for her ipad. This eventually subsided at 11pm when her dad bribed her with cookies.Aside from them who luckily left by our third night, everyone else on the site was polite and respectful. The only thing I would recommend is more frequent cleaning of the toilet block. With only 2 showers in the ladies and families showering 2/3 kids at a time they got dirty quickly. Whilst there was a hard-brush provided for the floor a mop would have been handy and maybe a shelf for toiletries. The sinks were grim to
Overall the site is a good site. Kids loved the park and the areas where they could play. The grounds were well kept, pitches were good size only downside was the reach for the electricity but we managed. I think that a few tweaks in the shower block would make this place great. Instead of hard bristle brushes it maybe worth getting mops, squeegees etc this will enable the dirt to be cleaned properly rather than just being brushed and left. I also believe that having blue roll in the sink area would help so that people can clean up after themselves and would improve the appearance especially if the blocks are only being cleaned once a day. This would also be handy at the pot washing area to clean and dry down for the next person. But overall it is a great place to stay and perfect for Skegness, gunby hall and other sites in Lincolnshire.
