Great time at Westgate yet again, only I frustration in the poor hone signal on either of our networks & the WI-FI was not connecting a lot of the time.

Would definitely recommend this site Staff so helpful and friendly . Showers and toilet block clean Lovley to see animals .

Westgate Carr Farm was one of the nicest sites we have stayed in. The pitch was enormous,private and beautifully maintained, the overall site was similarly well maintained. It was great to have a fully serviced pitch (No desperate hunts for water when someone is in the shower!) and the toilets were immaculate when we used them. The owners were most friendly and gave us a very helpful info pack. Location made it easy to get to town and there was so much to see and do within 30 miles. Absolutely great stuff!

Lovely peaceful site with very clean facilities and a great dog walk. Walking distance of Pickering centre.

The Cottage was beautiful, clean, fresh all as usual and just as we like it. The weather was very kind which meant we could use the patio area to our advantage. We love the layout of the cottage as it means there are several places to be cosy & comfortable. The location is ideal, so close to Pickering Castle and the Station for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. For walks around Town and to follow the railway to Newbridge and beyond if you feel up to it. A lovely drive across the Moors to Whitby ans Scarborough are great days out, and the Coastliner bus takes you there if you don't have a car. We are definately booking again!!

Superb location. Amazing views. Convienient for exploring North Yorkshire Moors. Easy access to Railway line. Great walking location. Fantastic free showers. Amazing overall will definitely return and to top it off steam railway gala over 4 days with some brilliant events going on. Highly recommended many thanks

Westgate Carr Farm has never failed to disappoint us. We have been coming here for as long as we can remember, in a motorhome, and, more recently, in a recently-purchased caravan. The site is immaculately clean and so very, very quiet! Dave and Karen, our hosts, are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble for them. As we only live half-a-mile away in Scarborough, we can definitely call this our 'second home'. We always look forward to returning to this wonderful site and if you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be!!

Westgate Carr is a very well presented site. It’s beautifully laid out and cared for with very friendly owners and lots of information in the welcome pack. Toilets and showers were spotless (although I’m not a fan of commercial radio in the block 🙂) Unfortunately my husband has a back problem at the moment and we hadn’t quite realised the distance from the town centre. It’s a pleasant walk, though a good third of it is a single track road. We were going to be heading into Pickering to meet family for the evening and the owner very kindly offered us a lift if we needed it. As it turned out our son collected us and brought us back. As motorhomers, we prefer not to take our vehicle off site so we’ll have to wait a while before we return. We would definitely recommend the site, just be aware how far it is into town.

Just back from another wonderful stay at Westgate Carr Farm. The site is very peaceful and the grounds are beautifully kept, with an abundance of wildlife. The dog walk is a great bonus too. The pitches are a good size with privacy hedging and the site has excellent shower facilities. Great value for money.Dave and Karen are very friendly and always make you feel at home.
