Nicely tucked away so very quite secluded, great if you like countryside and wildlife, toilets spotless, nice pleasant walk into Pickering where there's a nice variety of food places and nice pubs, altogether we had a great stay there and would recommend

Lovely site in a beautiful location. Access is fine although down single track road with security barrier entrance. Large well defined pitches with picnic benches, good informative welcome pack with clear easy instructions, facilities on site kept immaculate. Added bonus was the well maintained walk around property where you can walk down to the river, plenty of picnic benched and pretty places to stop and enjoy the view,s farm animals and wild life. Plenty to see and do in local area.

Cannot recommend Westgate Carr farm highly enough!!! Adults only makes for a quiet peaceful holiday. The facilities are second to none and a great deal of thought has gone into the layout and design of the site. This is how sites should be run/managed and many sites could take a leaf from this site!! Needless to say we have already rebooked. The staff were excellent and so helpful it was a breath of fresh air. Pickering is about 1 1/2 miles and is a typical market town with everything you would expect, supermarkets Post Office etc etc. Whitby and Scarborough are on your doorstep and only a short drive away.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable time staying at Morgan's Rest. Karen and Dave are great hosts and the cottage is lovely and well equipped, home from home. A perfect spot to choose in beautiful Yorkshire within easy reach of Whitby, Scarborough, York and the National Park. Pickering a lovely town too.

Didn't expect much how wrong was i it was nice peaceful nice area toilet blocks was very clean showers were top marks the owners were so friendly we took two 15 month old puppy's nice place we found for them to go in the river to keep them cool 5 minutes drive to centre of pickering 10 minutes to Thornton le dale ,Helmsley not far also Dalby forest. There are alpacas on site dear, owls chickens lots for the wildlife enthusiasts and Josh i think was the son with his supervisor did a cracking job on the caravan i definitely will try book again very shortly in the next couple of months if the can fit us in again .sorry if I have gone on abit but many thanks again .

Great stay again (our 4th) such a gem of a little site, kept beautifully and family run we love the peacefulness and will return

Site is very neatly set out with excellent facilities. Pitches are well spaced around an oval grassed area. The information pack handed out is the best we have ever seen. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The approach lane is narrow but there are passing places. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was advertised as a quiet and tranquil site but was the opposite.It was full of annoying people and pets

The best site I have stayed at so far, beautifully kept by lovely owners. Perfect for complete relaxation while being only a 30 minute dog friendly stroll to the centre of Pickering, ideal for a sole traveller in a motorhome with a dog Will definitely be returning to this little corner of paradise
