Our second stay at Westgate Carr Farm, was as good as the first !! It is a beautiful site with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, tucked away from the bustle of the town of Pickering, it offers a quiet haven to relax and unwind from the modern world. The staff (Dave and Karen) were very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and had thoughtfully prepared a site pack with all the information we needed to set up for our stay. The site is lovely and well maintained, with generous sized pitches on a well proportioned acreage! The toilet block is very modern and clean, very well maintained with good facilities. I can thoroughly recommend this site and will definitely be returning to it, in the future!

Having been before to the site we had no hesitation in returning, we were met at the site entrance by Dave who quickly gave us our welcome pack and allocated our space, the spaces are all very generous with water and EHU and either a drain or soakaway our space also had a lovely substantial picnic bench, each space has hard standing and grassed area. The facilities are very well maintained and clean, The site itself is located about 1/2 mile off the main road which means no road noise or other sound distractions. A very peaceful and well designed site within easy reach of Pickering and the gorgeous surrounding area.

Such a beautiful site kept immaculate by the owners. The toilets , showers and washing up area were all spotless, Anyone staying here can not be impressed by how it rubs off on other guests and their attitude to cleanliness. It is one of the quietest sites we have stayed at. With a fantastic, and safe, dog walk. Owners are extremely helpful and are as accommodating as they can.

We really enjoyed the peaceful location and well laid out site. Level pitches and privacy hedging were a bonus as was the availability of fully serviced pitches.

We had a very pleasant stay. Our pitch overlooked the fields, and there is a great path walk alongside the river. The site is very tidy and well ordered, and it was good to have our own picnic table, water point and EHU.Pickering is a pretty town, and good base for exploring both the moors and the coast.

Our 2nd stay at Clear View Cottage, having stayed there in Sept 2024, when it was new to the market. Our 2nd stay was June 2025, and just as perfect as last year. The location is ideal, close to shops & restaurants in town (Pickering), the Station for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and nearby attractions like Flamingo Land for younger families. The cottage was super clean on both occasions and Karen & Dave were the perfect hosts. Capplemans Fish & Chip shop and Figaro's Italian Restaurant are both worth a visit, as is Botham's Tea shop just down the path into town. There are buses to Whitby and Scarborough if you fancy giving driving a rest for a day at the seaside.

Excellent,been going for years.Great weather for the week and site spotlessly clean.Karen & Dave very welcoming as always,looking forward to our next visit.10/10.

Fantastic site,very secluded and secure,(ANPR barrier entry and exit) quiet but within a reasonable walking distance of Pickering, and in an ideal position to explore The North Yorkshire moors and the East coast.Spotlessly clean facilities, and friendly knowledgeable owners. immaculately kept pitches and communal areas. Lovely enclosed walk around their own field and by a stream for you and your doggies, idyllic.Ehu is chargeable, but any unused credit is refunded st the end of your stay.Showers are £1.00 for 7 mins, but they are hot and clean!.Will definitely return if our travels allow!!
