This is a truly wonderful place that’s immaculately kept. It’s peaceful, full of wildlife and has now become my favourite place to stay. Credit to Karen and Dave for creating something special. Already planning future visits! 😊

We stayed at Westgate Farm over the New Year period. The weather was not the best but we received a very warm welcome and were given a brief explanation of where things were etc along with a comprehensive information pack. Security barriers with ANPR had recently been installed; pitches were spacious and level and sanitary facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean.

We had a great stay on this small, quiet site. Great internet access, easy and welcoming booking in, spotless shower and toilets and no children (which for us is brilliant. We’ve had our family so now prefer peace and quiet!!). It’s about a mile and a half walk to the nearest pub up a single track road though that we found not suitable in a dark and cold January which was the only negative - and not something that the site can change!! I think it would have been ok in the lighter months. Good location for visiting York, Whitby etc and in a beautiful area of the country. Would definitely return if back that way again.Thanks to the owners 😊

Westgate Carr is a beautiful site located in open country side with beautiful views. Located just outside pickering the site is easy to access down a quiet lane.The pitches are generous with water & waste and ample room for an awning & car. Toilet & shower block immaculate.

We are returning customers to Westgate Carr camping and our return did not disappoint. Friendly hosts to chat and greet you. A very well thought out camping area with space between each other.Immaculate facilities always clean A few does and don't but these if adhered to make it enjoyable for everyone.The Alpacas are just lovely and fun to watch.The entrance road is long but ideal for walking off a beer or food from a walk into Pickering.Would I come again, yes indeed.Keep up the good work guys.

Morgan’s Rest had everything we needed, The standard of everything was excellent. Karen was very helpful to some questions we had. Lovely and peaceful and great views, black cat visited us most days was so friendly . Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This was probably the best caravan site we've stayed at. Beautiful grounds with spacious, level pitches. The facilities were spotless. We had a wonderful few days exploring the surrounding villages and forest walks - even the seaside isn't too far away. On clear nights the night sky was incredible! We will definitely be back!

Lovely quite site close to Pickering.

We were the only people there for 2 out of our 3 night stay. It was a quiet site with a 25 minute walk into Pickering itself. The facilities were immaculate but on a full site would probably have been inadequate as only 1 shower and 2 toilets (×2) for 20+ pitches. Friendly staff. Daily free range eggs available to purchase. EHU extra but refunded excess paid within a couple of days without fuss. Would stay again when visiting the area

Excellent site ,clean ,tidy ,great facilities and very peaceful.Perfect area to explore Yorkshire , friendly hosts ,fresh eggs on offer just leave your money .Toilets immaculate,warm with background music .lovely pond with fish and was lovely to see the horses ,one of the best sites I’ve visited will definitely be back !
