Westgate Carr Farm has 20 large, all-weather, serviced caravan/motorhome pitches & 4 dedicated all-weather motorhome/campervan pitches in a backwater of just 4 pitches all set in 2.2 acres of parkland type, manicured grounds. The spacious pitches are purposely positioned around the perimeter of the Park with a large, open central space, many with Beech hedging in between affording privacy & definition. A quality picnic table is provided on each pitch as is 10A EHU, private water point & free wi-fi
In addition the Premier pitches & majority of Super pitches have grey waste drains & a drive-over grey waste drain is provided for Motorhomes & Campervans
Our toilet/shower block is small but luxurious with a single shower (£1 coins), 2 toilets & washbasins in both ladies & men's (who also have 2 urinals). Additionally the block has a separate "Disabled" room which is self contained & a small kitchen with washing machine together with an external pot wash area.
Morgan's Rest, our onsite luxury cottage is only available to book by phone/email as is Trackside Cottage, our stunning cottage in the heart of Pickering overlooking the NYMR.
With a strong focus on wildlife all guests have access to our dog walk/nature trail passing along our fields to/from the Costa Beck where an array of wildlife can often be seen including stoats, otters, roe deer as well as meeting our Shire/Clydesdale & Irish Sports Horses & Alpacas!
Being located just 1 mile from the A170 as it passes through Pickering in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside, the Park evades any noise or light pollution & is simply perfect for star gazing and a get away from it all holiday.

This was our third visit in the last few years. Excellent facilties, quite dog friendly campsite in a wonderful location ideal for Dalby forest, North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast. We will definitely be back next year.
Dave was great, he could enough for us..! He was exactly what we needed on our maiden motorhome overnight stay..! He came into our van and showed us how things worked, told us about the site and surrounding area etc. the site itself is spotless, testament to Karen. There not much to do, which is why we chose it. Would highly recommend.
Site is nice, secure, and away from all the drama whilst being accessible for the centre of Pickering 2mile away, easy to walk to in daylight hours. Site has good private pitches, hedged boundaries, with an outdoor seating and eating bench with the pitch. Pitches are serviced with EHU (via pre paid card) and water point. Grey Waste was asked to be used to water hedges which was easier but a drive over service point is available. Facilities include a toilet block but only has 1 coin operated shower and 2 toilets in each gender. These were very clean and a £ gives 7 minutes shower time. There is also a single washing up sink, Elsan point (requires Green chemicals only - available from site if needed), and an information hut. This is a working farm I believe and there is a nice dog walk round the fields were you can view the animals. Pickering was an easy for us walk and the pubs and shops were nice and friendly. If you want a quiet few days peace it’s a nice little Adult Only site.
Lovely campsite with beautiful scenery and lovely facilities definitely booking again
Excellent location 1 mile flat road into Pickering, wonderful warm welcome like old friends, you won’t find a cleaner shower/ toilet block the attention to detail goes far beyond other sites we have visited,the largest dog walk with the added bonus of wildlife living nearby totally undisturbed.It certainly is a little piece of tranquility can’t wait to return.
Very pleasant and tranquil site. Pickering town is a little over a mile away and is a nice place with good facilities, save for banks and ATM😁
We received a warm and friendly welcome and it just got better and better. The whole site is well laid out and beautifully kept. We had a peaceful and very comfortable three nights and didn’t want to leave. Everyone we spoke to was either a regular or said categorically, they would return, as it’s a great ‘find’. As the approach lane began we were slightly tentative, as it narrowed significantly. However, despite our initial reaction, we found it very easy to traverse, it’s mainly straight, so you can see what’s ahead and it’s very quiet. We walked it many times during our stay (visiting family) and the couple of times we encountered vehicles, they were local and very considerate. Close enough to Pickering to walk there if you wish, it’s approx just over a mile to the centre of Pickering itself, which is lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to do. Good stay? Yes, perfect!
We had an amazing few days staying in Trackside Cottage in Pickering. The cottage was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
This is the best site we have visited Dave and Karen were very friendly they keep the site in an immaculate condition even the dog walk is well maintained we can not praise the site enough
A peaceful quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst being within walking/driving distance of every modern day requirement, perfect.
