Fantastic welcome, given our information pack and shown to our pitch . We stayed on pitch 24 which was ideal for us as we have a a continental habitation door on the drivers side . Facilities were spotless the grounds were very well kept . We walked into Pickering lovely walk if weather is fine but a long way if it rains , we would highly recommend this site

‘BeWe stayed at Westgate several times now. Probably one of the nicest and best kept sites we stay on. The pitches are immaculate and well kept, large hard standing pitches separated by hedges, fully serviced, most even have a picnic bench. You only pay for what electric you use, not £6 a night like some sites. The toilet block is spotless, cleared regularly, heated and even has music playing. Excellent dog walk on site and nice to just stroll round if you don’t have a dog.you’ll see Llamas, deer, sheep during your walk and also a small pond on site with wildlife. . Lovely small friendly site, with Pickering being just a 20min walk away we find this ideal for a weekend away but could stay longer quite easily. Owners are lovely people.

A nice half hour walk into pickering. A very quiet and peaceful site, and a great location, for exploring the north York moors!

This is a fantastic site, beautiful scenery around, very peaceful, great dog walk, would definitely stay again.

Site is peaceful and friendly and extremely well maintained. Short walk into the lovely town Pickering where there are shops for every need. If you wish to drive there are many places nearby to visit such as Gothland, Whitby etc or take a ride on the steam train. Perfect place for a relaxing break.

We stayed for 4 nights at Westgate Carr Farm. What an absolutely beautiful site....large pitch sizes with your own picnic bench and lovely views over the countryside. Fantastic facilities, very clean and well maintained. Beautuful views and one of the best dog walk areas I've ever experienced. The ponds, the apple trees, the alpacas, the river walk, the swans, the chickens all added to the peaceful stay we had. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for providing such a beautiful caravan park ❤

Our first ever visit, not only to Wesgate Carr Caravan Park, but to Yorkshire! We pride ourselves in doing our homework prior to making any booking. This site never let us down, perfect hosts, pristine facilities, large pitches, lovely dog walk. Perfect place to unwind and when your ready the perfect location to explore a beautiful county.Will definitely consider a return visit.Graham and Nicky.

This is a beautiful, well kept site with very generous pitch spacing . Lovely clean showers and toilet block . There is a lovely circular one mile walk , with alpacas , next to the site . It’s a 40 minute walk to Pickering which has lovely pubs and cafes . I highly recommend this gem of a site

An ideally-located site for the North Yorks Moors and coast area, including the North Yorks Moors Railway, Dalby Forest, a number of National Trust and English Heritage sites, and The National Birds of Prey Centre. It is located on the western outskirts of Pickering on an access road running south from the main Keld Head road (A170).A warm and friendly welcome from Dave & Karen. Dave showed us to the generous sized pitch and explained the facilities and connections, providing a comprehensive welcome pack and a pre-loaded electricity meter card.The site is very well-maintained with pitches attended as users depart. The facilities are excellent and kept serviced, clean, and tidy. It is a very peaceful site with low light pollution to maximise the view of the night sky.The town centre is 1¾ mile level walk (rail station, etc.) passing The Sun Inn at 1½ miles (a fine CAMRA Pub, no food). There are supermarket / carparks in town and fuel / Spar on the A170 (left at lane end).
