Visit x 4 times at least per year and have done for the past 10 years or so. Love the peace and quiet. Friendly family run site in beautiful surroundings x

Everything was immaculate and they were very friendly really enjoyed our stay

A very spacious and well kept site run by very helpful owners, we have been going there two or three times a year for the past six years, highly satisfied, fully recommended.

We needed a one night stay while we visited Filey and Scarborough. Westgate Carr is a really good site, with excellent, large hard standing pitches which was reassuring because in the wet weather we had recently had to abandon our stay on another site when our camper van was bogged down. Facilities are clean and high quality. There’s a lovely dog walk by the river of about a mile. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Westgate Farm for 3 nights, weather wasn't particularly kind, but we enjoyed our first trip out in 2024. Lovely hosts, and the fact you have to use the bio toilet fluids has opened our eyes, we are hopefully using this all of the time now. They sell it at the farm and is very reasonably priced. Toilets and showers were spotless...The dog walks are lovely, and the fact there are llamas, sheep, horses, chickens and dogs, it was my little bit of heaven!!We would definitely go back, and would recommend this site to everyone

The welcome from Karen was great, booked us in and explained how everything worked. She then showed us to our pitch. Lovely site,pitches great with water on all of them. The showers and toilets were immaculate with plenty of hot water. Plenty of space in between the pitches and nobody opposite you so a nice clear front of van to look out. It’s a good 35-40 minute walk into Pickering, or a 10-15 minute bike ride, but there are plenty of cafes, pubs and shops to wander around, or as we did just come back to the site and listened to the peace and quiet of the area.

We have been stopping here about 5 times since they had the Peacock, this was our second time in 3 months.

We spent 5 days here. On arrival we were greeted and informed of our pitch. Very pleasant and polite people. Pitch was very good as we have a 5th wheel. Place was clean and tidy. Toilets etc extremely clean and well kept. Good dog walking area.

The site was full when we stayed at Easter which meant queues for the small toilet block and would recommend more than one shower. Being charged for electricity and showers, whilst wouldn’t prevent us from returning is definitely something we are not used to and made it more expensive than other sites. Other than that the site was lovely and well maintained.

Brilliant week. I would highly recommend this place. Owners are very helpful and site is excellent. Pitches are fully serviced and very spacious. Lovely dog walk which goes along the beck, with plenty of wildlife along the way.
