The accessible holiday vans are designed to provide wheelchair users and their families with safe, easy access in a relaxing and comfortable space. They have a full wet room with fold out seat and support handles. The vans have two twin bedrooms and sleep four. One of bedrooms has a portable helper frame. The cooker and sink are at a lower level and each van has a decking with ramp access. These vans are also better suited to those with mobility issues as there are no steps to negotiate and, as well as a wider external door, all the internal doors slide. The two wheelchair friendly vans are in the second row but also have a sea view! All vans are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, linen and towels.

Each wagon has an en-suite shower, a kitchen area, double bed, heating and decking. All fully equipped, all you need is your sleeping bag or duvet. Our wagons have been individually specified and are currently being built.
West Beach Caravan Park is on the site of the former train station and wagons at this time were used to transport the fish out of Hopeman. We've kept this theme and named the wagons Flukey, Guntac and Rock Coddie - the local names for some of the Moray Firth catch. All the wagons are the same, they just have different paint colours.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The four Beach Hutties are basically wooden tents with mattresses, blinds, a ceiling light and a USB charger. By day they act as a seating area and by night they form a 3m x 2m sleeping area. The optional hook-up means you can use the Huttie as an extension to your campervan.
These are no frills, simple units and are located at the rear of the park. A fifth hut provides a Campers Kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwashing sinks.

We love coming to West Beach, this is our 4th year and I hope it continues to be a tradition at the end of the summer holidays for many years to come!
Excellent
We have stayed at West Beach a few times, this was our first time with our trailer tent and we had a lovely time. The site is spotless and has great facilities such as a camp kitchen and individual cubicles with a showers and toilets, handy with kids. Bootleggers on site do lovely food and you are right beside the beach. There is also a fab play park a few minutes away. Highly recommend!
We recently stayed at **West Beach Holiday Park in Hopeman** and overall had a lovely stay\! ❤️🌊 **The views are beautiful**, and the site is in a really lovely village, making it a great spot for exploring the area\.🚻 The **toilet facilities were clean and tidy**, although there was one little issue\. The toilet roll holders were positioned on the other side of the sink, with the sink in between the toilet and the toilet roll\. Not the most practical placement, especially for anyone with mobility difficulties\.🐕🦺 We did have one issue regarding our **service dog** and the restaurant\. We were initially asked to provide a certificate for our service dog\. We explained that under UK law, there is **no specific legal requirement for an assistance/service dog to have an ID card or certificate**\. After we explained this, we were allowed into the restaurant with our service dog\. 👍🕐 When we arrived, the reception wasn’t manned just after 1pm, but someone came alo
Amazing location by the beach and fab campsite - facilities were clean and well looked after so we had a wonderfully stay. My only complaint is with the restaurant - despite booking 2 weeks in advance, we were given a small table near the bar and had two young kids with us, so it was really cramped and not comfortable for the kids to sit on high bar stools, the service was also quite slow, but otherwise a lovely stay and will stay at the campsite again.
having stayed a few times, we both appreciate all aspects of West Beach. We had a lovely two days a couple of swims, a walk, and dinner at beachcombers + lots of Dolphins passing by. Also as we are from Ullapool we relish being outside midge free. We shall return!
Great location, gorgeous views and fantastic dolphin watching. Short walk to the play parks and ice cream shops! Ideal holiday spot for families. Bathroom facilities need a really good scrub clean though, which is a shame as really like the idea of them looking like beach huts etc. Our pitch was also right next to the bar so we had people walking through the pitch to access the shore. Better signage to help people find an appropriate path down or at least stay off the pitches would help. Obviously didn’t mind people going down the side of the pitch but some went between the car and caravan!
