The accessible holiday vans are designed to provide wheelchair users and their families with safe, easy access in a relaxing and comfortable space. They have a full wet room with fold out seat and support handles. The vans have two twin bedrooms and sleep four. One of bedrooms has a portable helper frame. The cooker and sink are at a lower level and each van has a decking with ramp access. These vans are also better suited to those with mobility issues as there are no steps to negotiate and, as well as a wider external door, all the internal doors slide. The two wheelchair friendly vans are in the second row but also have a sea view! All vans are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, linen and towels.

Our wagons have been individually specified and are currently being built.
West Beach Caravan Park is on the site of the former train station and wagons at this time were used to transport the fish out of Hopeman. We've kept this theme and named the wagons Flukey, Guntac and Rock Coddie - the local names for some of the Moray Firth catch. All the wagons are the same, they just have different paint colours.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The four Beach Hutties are basically wooden tents with mattresses, blinds, a ceiling light and a USB charger. By day they act as a seating area and by night they form a 3m x 2m sleeping area. The optional hook-up means you can use the Huttie as an extension to your campervan.
These are no frills, simple units and are located at the rear of the park. A fifth hut provides a Campers Kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwashing sinks.
These Units are not pet friendly

Our 3rd Summer Nights Fever visit, 4th booked already for August. Had an amazing weekend again, weather, food, music, people and overall vibe was spot on!! Bring on the next one!!
This is the 4th time we have stayed at West Beach and this time we were on the platform which is the best area in my opinion. Lovely site, nice new shower block. Only complaint is the showers only last about 10 seconds per push, which means a lot of pushing the button to wash my hair! (But this is a minor detail.)It's the perfect location - you can walk into the town to get ice-cream and a takeaway. The beach is beautiful. We cycled along the old railway line to Burghead and that's so nice as well. And the sunset ... Gorgeous! Highly recommend going there.
Despite traveling extensively in UK, France and Spain Hopeman West Beach is still my favourite place to stay. The campsite, the beach, the village even the slightly softer Moray weather just make me happy. Add to that good food, friendly people and the smile on most faces when I look around makes it very special. Even got to see the Northern lights over the van a couple of years ago.
We had an excellent time, our two young children buzzing about the whole time laughing and playing. The facilities were top notch and so were the staff, we will be back, thanks.
First visit to west beach caravan park, We stayed in the wagons just as you enter the site, ideal for the two of us for the weekend. We had dinner on the Friday at Bootleggers bar and grill. Great food and great service. Saturday we returned for the summer night fever. Where we had a great time. Looking forward to our next visit. 5 star from us.
We have stayed at this campsite twice now and booked for a third time later this year. We go to a music event there but all aspects of the campsite are great and the handy man was very helpful when we had an issue with our van. Highly recommend a visit here
It’s a very nice place for a beach holiday but it’s also looking very untidy lots of machines looking abandoned
We booked a shore pitch based on the website info and reviews on Search for Sites. The shore pitches are a very good size and not too close together. The site is clean with plenty of bins and the facilities are first class. The access to the beach from the shore pitches could not be better. It was out of season and the site was almost deserted. Perfect for us!!Yes this is on the expensive side but we thought it was worth the money.
This is our second time at Hopeman and again we were on a shore pitch. These pitches are fantastic, being fully serviced and with uninterrupted views of the Moray Firth. The site is kept very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I had to pick on one part, it would be the showers at the shore pitches. Although I understand the need for pushbutton showers, they need to stay on longer than 10 seconds. Also the water was only warm so maybe turning the temp up a notch would be good.Another great stay though and we will be back.
What a lovely site. Right next to the beach. Displays by RAF Lossiemouth were great as well as the dolphins passing by.The restaurant serves excellent food and the staff are very helpful and friendly (especially Shazza). Had a fabulous time and we will be back.
