The Platform is only suited for motorhomes and campervans due to the elevated position overlooking West Beach.

The accessible holiday vans are designed to provide wheelchair users and their families with safe, easy access in a relaxing and comfortable space. They have a full wet room with fold out seat and support handles. The vans have two twin bedrooms and sleep four. One of bedrooms has a portable helper frame. The cooker and sink are at a lower level and each van has a decking with ramp access. These vans are also better suited to those with mobility issues as there are no steps to negotiate and, as well as a wider external door, all the internal doors slide. The two wheelchair friendly vans are in the second row but also have a sea view! All vans are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, linen and towels.
Each wagon has an en-suite shower, a kitchen area, double bed, heating and decking. All fully equipped, all you need is your sleeping bag or duvet.
Our three ‘goods wagons’ offer the best glamping experience at luxury level and are only a stones throw away from the beach. Whether it’s a romantic break or a much needed place to escape from the daily grind the wagons are the perfect place to chill out. Each wagon has an en-suite shower, a kitchen area, double bed, heating and decking. All fully equipped, all you need is your sleeping bag or duvet. Our wagons have been individually specified and are currently being built.
West Beach Caravan Park is on the site of the former train station and wagons at this time were used to transport the fish out of Hopeman. We've kept this theme and named the wagons Flukey, Guntac and Rock Coddie - the local names for some of the Moray Firth catch. All the wagons are the same, they just have different paint colours.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The four Beach Hutties are basically wooden tents with mattresses, blinds, a ceiling light and a USB charger. By day they act as a seating area and by night they form a 3m x 2m sleeping area. The optional hook-up means you can use the Huttie as an extension to your campervan.
These are no frills, simple units and are located at the rear of the park. A fifth hut provides a Campers Kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwashing sinks.
All lodges sleep two adults and two children with views over west Beach.
New for 2020 we have five new Lodges - the S Pod 6 Escape - from Swift.
These lodges are ideally suited for two adults and two children or for a romantic break for two. The Lodges have shower room, twin beds on the mezzanine which are accessed from the dining area, a fold down double in in the dinette and a pull-out double in the front seating area.
The Lodges are fully equipped and have the added extras of gas central heating, a nespresso machine and 40in Smart TV. There is a twin gas hob, fridge with ice-box and a microwave.
All the lodges overlook West Beach and have a covered decking area so that you can enjoy the view - whatever the weather!

This has to be be the best site we have every stayed at in our motorhome. The views are breathtaking. If you can afford the extra for a front pitch then do it. You will not regret it. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. We have decided already to return next October half term.
Never got to enjoy the real benefits of the site due to the weather, but was impressed with the set up.
a very nice place, directly at the water. we enjoyed our stay at this campground and will return
One of the best sites we habe been to. I couimagine in the height of season up and down the main road into Hipeman might be a bit if a juggle but we'll worth the trip.
Lovely spot right on the beach - perfect little staycay for a relaxed, stripped back holiday.
This is a lovely site in a great location. Great facilities and beaches.
West beach caravan site overall is good, clean site but a few tweeks needed. The sea view pitches services were unusable because if you want to turn caravan for a sea view the services were on the wrong side and the showers were too cold. Bootleggers bar and grill was excellent and the staff very helpful.
I have walked past the Lodges. Admired them and repeatedly said to my niece and nephew…”One day, the 3 of us (and Jess the dog) will stay for a weekend. So, one evening, on a whim, I booked the 4 of us in for the 2nd week of the tattie holidays. It certainly did not disappoint. The lodge was lovely and clean. Lots of really thoughtful and cute touches which I really appreciated. Like the mugs, dishtowels, nice glasses and crockery. It makes such a big difference. There were a couple of non-urgent maintenance issues that I needed to report. Roddy offered to come and tackle them immediately! (I assured him the next day would suffice.) A mixed week weather wise but even that didn’t even curb my enjoyment. I’ve been saving the best bit to last. The View. Wall to wall, unobstructed amazing-ness. From piercing blue skies and awesome sunsets to Storm Babet’s masoove waves. The view from the sheltered balcony was why I wanted to stay and never leave. Ill definitely be back
