The accessible holiday vans are designed to provide wheelchair users and their families with safe, easy access in a relaxing and comfortable space. They have a full wet room with fold out seat and support handles. The vans have two twin bedrooms and sleep four. One of bedrooms has a portable helper frame. The cooker and sink are at a lower level and each van has a decking with ramp access. These vans are also better suited to those with mobility issues as there are no steps to negotiate and, as well as a wider external door, all the internal doors slide. The two wheelchair friendly vans are in the second row but also have a sea view! All vans are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, linen and towels.
Each wagon has an en-suite shower, a kitchen area, double bed, heating and decking. All fully equipped, all you need is your sleeping bag or duvet.
Our three ‘goods wagons’ offer the best glamping experience at luxury level and are only a stones throw away from the beach. Whether it’s a romantic break or a much needed place to escape from the daily grind the wagons are the perfect place to chill out. Each wagon has an en-suite shower, a kitchen area, double bed, heating and decking. All fully equipped, all you need is your sleeping bag or duvet. Our wagons have been individually specified and are currently being built.
West Beach Caravan Park is on the site of the former train station and wagons at this time were used to transport the fish out of Hopeman. We've kept this theme and named the wagons Flukey, Guntac and Rock Coddie - the local names for some of the Moray Firth catch. All the wagons are the same, they just have different paint colours.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The West Beach Hutties - perfect for camping without a tent or as extra accommodation for your campervan.
The four Beach Hutties are basically wooden tents with mattresses, blinds, a ceiling light and a USB charger. By day they act as a seating area and by night they form a 3m x 2m sleeping area. The optional hook-up means you can use the Huttie as an extension to your campervan.
These are no frills, simple units and are located at the rear of the park. A fifth hut provides a Campers Kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwashing sinks.
All lodges sleep two adults and two children with views over west Beach.
New for 2020 we have five new Lodges - the S Pod 6 Escape - from Swift.
These lodges are ideally suited for two adults and two children or for a romantic break for two. The Lodges have shower room, twin beds on the mezzanine which are accessed from the dining area, a fold down double in in the dinette and a pull-out double in the front seating area.
The Lodges are fully equipped and have the added extras of gas central heating, a nespresso machine and 40in Smart TV. There is a twin gas hob, fridge with ice-box and a microwave.
All the lodges overlook West Beach and have a covered decking area so that you can enjoy the view - whatever the weather!

Super clean
Right by the sea, the facilities are clean & well maintained. Nice walk to Burghead & plenty of food options locallyWest Beach is our new favourite site
Perfect pitch for campervans on the platform area, great sea views and good facilities close to hand
We went in our touring caravan. Pitch was level one of the best I've been on. Our pitch was near reception. I don't think there so level further up the site.Bootleggers food was AMAZING.Only down side was the smell in toilets and showers. They were clean unsure if it was drains. Showers were just the right temp.
We stayed for a week on one of the premium sea shore pitches S11. Great sea view and a roomy fully serviced pitch with slight slope towards the shore so you might leave levelling ramps. Good facilities although limited in numbers for the size of the site. However as we were there early season and mid-week we didn't have any issues accessing the toilets and showers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great bar restaurant on site - the Bootleggers Bothy. This has become one of our favourite sites. Access down the town main street towards the harbour has parked vehicles which means approaching and proceeding with care. There are a couple of small shops and a post office in the town. Great coastal walks and a good cycle way from the site to Burghead.
The whole park was very clean, toilets and showers were impeccable...... the Bar & Grill: Staff were excellent and very attentive, their interaction was spot on! Food: was to die for, honestly all our plates were cleaned ( I had to stop our friend licking his) I cant recommend this place enough! 5 *****
Great sit with stunning views ans amazing sunsets if the weather is good. Good facilities at the site that were clean with hot shower ect.. Will deffo be back
We enjoyed our stay on a serviced stance on West Beach very much. The location is perfect if you enjoy being by the sea. The Moray Coastal path runs parallel and you can go east or west. Bootleggers Bar and grill is excellent serving local gin and beer and most other things as well as good food. We were lucky to hear Speyside Cadet, an excellent singer guitarist. Although the site seemed well tended and efficient with clean facilities, we felt a lack of personality and ownership and our check in was efficient but not all that welcoming. That was the only human contact we had. It was not a problem but it would be nice to have more of a friendly presence.
Very g
The wagon we stayed in was perfect for our requirements, we were cycling the Moray Way and staying in West Beach Caravan Park saved us carrying a tent and equipment. The Wagon was clean and well equipped with a bright, seaside interior.
