Met friends here and had a lovely weekend. Lots of walks from the site and a park over the road for dogs.Can walk into Wells on a well-lit road via the pavement.Good cafe on site and friendly staff

Stayed on my own with the dog and felt so comfortable on this site. The site is immaculately maintained and the facilities spotlessly clean. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the bar and pizza takeaway made for a special treat and having their own gin was a big plus for me too. The walk into Wells is perfect for taking the dog into town and the BishopsPalace and grounds in front of the cathedral are perfect for admiring the buildings while minding the hound. I look forward to going back!

We are a group of men that normally meet up with wives and partners, but once a year we have a men’s weekend and our partner’s have their get together.We normally go to Bristol, or Glastonbury but for a change we decided to try Wells.Wells Touring Park is a fantastic campsite. The staff were brilliant very friendly and helpful and the site facilities were very clean and well kept.The little bar on site was very welcoming, a couple of pints in the bar and then for quickness because of the time, we had a couple of taxis into Wells.We were booked into a Thai restaurant for 7.30pm we had an excellent time and meal was very good. On Saturday we walked into Wells it took about 30 minutes a very easy walk. We had a lovely time walking around Wells, some went off to see the Cathedral some went to the market. There are lots of lovely pubs and restaurants. We had a meal in a lovely Indian restaurant and then found a nice little pub to finish the evening off. Would recommend this camp

The site and facilities were spotless love the little cafe/bar and all the staff were great local to wells with walking ,buses and taxis all available

Excellent adult only site and just half an hour walk in to the city.Very dog friendly, dog wash was a nice touch.All facilities were of high standard. The grounds are immaculate.Used a 4 nights for three offer so not expensive.Site is on a hill so pitches are not flat.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

As always a perfectly presented site, with friendly staff. Only issue it rained for most of one day (it was late October), and not a lot could be done to resolve this by yourselves.

Would definitely come back, 20mins walk to the beautiful city of Wells. Great walking location

An amazing site as soon as you drive onto site reception very clean and staff very welcoming. Bar & seating area very well presented and a good selection of drinks & a cheeky tasting session of the owners gin , vodka & rum very nice too. Pitches very clean and spacious with electric hook up water very close. Shower block / toilets were clean and tidy & a warm welcome with the local radio station playing. Lots of local attractions with easy access too with the local bus stop right out side the site entrance so no packing up to drive anywhere. We will be returning next year.
