The staff running reception and the cafe/bar were welcoming helpful and efficient. Really enhanced our stay. Toilet block was always clean and fresh, found the radio on in toilet block a bit weird, probably just me, but twice thought there was a man in the women’s facilities when it was just the radio playing. Walk into Wells was easy and Wells is an interesting city.

This is our second visit to this camp site and we loved it , friendly and helpful staff the site and the shower block are kept spotless. The 1413 café is is great good beer cans or bottles shame it wasn't draft, wine , cakes and snacks shame it's not open longer .The only down side for us was push button showers lasting on 3 seconds and the shower head sprayed everywhere apart from down.Also dog walking nothing really available on site apart a very very small area, there is a park across a very busy road with very fast traffic coming from both directions most clearly speeding .

Just a really lovely place to stay

This was our second stay at Wells Touring Park. This time, we went with another couple who we’d recommended it to.Our second stay didn’t disappoint. This is such a well kept site with excellent facilities. The team were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stayWe visited the onsite cafe/bar a couple of times and sampled the Evielou Gin. There is also an Evielou shop on site which sells the whole range of products, so we bought a bottle of their gin and glassesIn a quiet rural location, this site is peaceful, whilst only a short walk away from Wells, with its bustling Saturday market and a range of bars, restaurants, well known shops and independents, along with beautiful Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace.We also visited Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar and Clark’s Village at Street during our stay - all only a short drive from the site.We look forward to visiting again!

Such a welcoming place excellent facilities, very friendly staff, bus stop close by.

Staff very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble lovely little Pub on site and the food was absolutely beautiful. I could not thought this site at all and we will definitely be back. The only thing would’ve been nice if the pub just stayed open to 10 o’clock, but I do understand that this is a quiet site so it was fine.

We stayed 2 nights as part of an early season tour of Somerset and Devon.Site is well maintained. I wish my lawn was as good.Enjoyed Pizza from the kiosk.Walk in to Wells is mostly via paved railway path and side roads.Wells is a unique and quirky place with a good Saturday market.Dog walking in public park across the road. Has tarmac paths if grass is wet.

Considering the challenging weather we have been having this year to date the site was in great condition, all facilities were clean and working. Visited the town centre and Wookey hole by walking and cheddar gorge by bus. Lovely site.

Warm welcome and fantastic pitches. Price of our fully serviced pitch was reasonable. Toilet and shower block was spotlessly clean and warm, with hot water on demand. We thought the cafe/bar a great touch and enjoyed coffee and cake a couple of times. We walked into Wells, which took us 30 minutes at a leisurely pace, and also used the bus - which stops just outside the site. We would definately return if touring in the area again.
