Tremendous place to stay, just be aware that there are no showers

A magical small wild campsite with it'd own unique charm. Amazing to falll asleep lulled by the sound of waves on the shingle.Will be back next year for the 3rd time, jut this time for 2 weeks I hope :)

Great campsite, right next to sea, loads to do in area, friendly atmosphere - the people who do onsite running are lovely. Is there any way booking system can be improved. ! Very hard to get preferred date/pitches. Lovely few days as always. Thank you !

This is a lovely quiet and friendly site. Perfect if you like to get away from it all. The car park and toilets are a 5 minute walk from the site. There are wheel barrows to help you take your stuff to the door which is really useful. On the path to the campsite there is a bridge that you can go crabbing off. You can have a campfire on the beach which is really lovelyThere's a lovely walk along the estuary to a footbridge and then on into Southwold. You can get a foot ferry instead which shortened the walk. Southwold is very pretty. We had lovely weather except for it was windy! I wouldn't have enjoyed this site if it had rained out been more windy. It's fabulous if it's sunny.

Our third time staying at this gem of a campsite. We don’t want to tell everyone about it in case we can’t get booked for next year!! Pre arrival info and check in is super clear. Andy and his partner were so welcoming and friendly. Always said hello when we saw them. In fact everyone camping were super friendly and clearly lots of returnees that knew each other. The porta loos were always clean when we used them and great having them just close enough. The main draw is that we can have a car free holiday and be back with nature. The stars are incredible and I loved my 3am star gazing on the beach. We swam every day and having the sea a stones throw away from the tent was magical. The site was clean and we felt safe leaving our things in our tent whilst we went walking. We visited Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick and ate out at all three locations which we love. The Tea Shed and Parish Lantern are excellent. We can’t wait to be back next year!

Beautiful wild campsite. Back to basics but hearing the waves as you fall asleep can't be beaten!
