The perfect solo trip

Auckland, Roseanna - 11/10/2026

I had the best time at waenfechan! As soon as I arrived I literally was so impressed and just felt a weight lifted. I was ready to relax and this was the perfect site for it! Being on my own I felt extremely safe here! The hot tub huts were so nice and so great to go along my tentbox so I have somewhere to sit if it was raining. The views were to die for. And the staff were all so friendly and lovely! Also gave advice of places to visit etc. facilities were great everything you needed and were kept very clean and nice! Little shop at reception which was very handy. I was meant to come last year but my tentbox sadly got stolen and I wasn’t able to come. So glad I have been able to come with my new tentbox and enjoy this gorgeous site! Highly recommend it to everyone, solo campers, couples, families it’s so great!

Holiday highlight

We enjoyed our visit, the sight was clean and the scenery was beautiful. Toilets were clean and the hot tub was gorgeous. We didn’t go into the shop. We visited colwyn bay and Llandudno, which we enjoyed, we had Sunday lunch at a pub which was most enjoyable. Leading up to the sight , the road becomes a lane and it’s very difficult to see how cars/ vans pass each other, luckily we didn’t come across any vehicles, overall we had a fantastic stay , the sight was beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly, we would definitely go back

If you’re thinking about booking this place… Just do it. If not for the pitch and the hot tub. Then do it for the quietness, the totally black sky at night. And if not for anything else, then the unforgettable views! Absolutely fantastic stay. Loved it.

Amazing 😍

Site is beautiful, staff lovely at check in, the hot tub pitches are simply amazing 😍 the views are out of this world amazing and pictures simply don't do it justice! Really easy to get to Llandudno and surrounding areas despite feeling you're in the middle of nowhere. That being said it's so unbelievably peaceful, we went for our anniversary without our toddler but I would say it's not really a place for small children just because it really is sooo silent and peaceful 😌 takeaways deliver here. I can't say enough good things and cannot wait to come back.

Birthday trip to Wales

Graham, Alicia - 04/10/2026

Stayed for two nights for my partner's birthday and we stopped on the Eryri hot tub pitch. This was a slightly larger square hot tub and the views were fantastic. There is a shop onsite and great facilities to take a shower or do washing. The site felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, but this made it peaceful, and it wasn't isolated as there were lots of villages and towns about a 15-minute drive away which were great to explore. We also tried Hickory's Smokehouse in Rhos-on-Sea for a meal after climbing Snowdon, which was great and just what we needed after a big hike. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning! Thankyou"

Glorious glamping

Cork, Sian - 01/10/2026

Campers and campervans/ moho’s (under 7m) accepted due I’m guessing to narrow lanes…. Make sure you check your route in for your vehicles suitability. Having arrived we were welcomed on site and given local information. The whole site was so clean and maintained. The hot tubs were fabulous and a great draw along with being able to have a campfire. Access to a microwave was a nice touch as was the on site dog run and dog wash being fitted.Views across to Carneddau and towards the coast were stunning…. A place to truly slow down & relax.Plenty to do in area if you drive off site…. Conwy, Llandudno, Bodnant, and Llanrwst are a within half an hours drive providing something for adrenaline junkies, garden lovers, history nuts, wildlife enthusiasts and foodies.

From checking in to checking out the whole experience was incredible. The best camping experience and campsite I have ever visited. That view as you arrive 😍 say no more xx

We came away to celebrate 30 years of friendship and enjoy some much-needed peace and tranquillity. On a tight budget with a little campervan, we hoped for comfort and a touch of luxury, and this hidden gem exceeded every expectation. The warm welcome, preheated hot tub and stunning views made us feel instantly relaxed. The facilities were spotless, with luxurious wet rooms and thoughtful extras including a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge. Beautiful flower beds and a well-stocked shop added to the charm.A short walk revealed breathtaking views of Snowdonia, the Conwy Estuary and the Great Orme. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We left feeling refreshed, restored and grateful for every moment, and we cannot wait to return.
