Beautifully kept, quiet and the best view you could hope for.

We only stayed one night as this was a 'shakedown trial' for my campervan after an extended period off the road. I stayed in my van on one of the basic electric pitches, and my friend in one of the hideaway pods and both were excellent. I'm not a hot tub person but if you are, they have camping pitches with hot tubs too, which looked too be really well thought out.Facilities were excellent with toilets and showers but also access to little touches like a washing machine and tumble dryer, a microwave and a hair dryer, plus a decent little shop in reception that seemed to cover all of the essentials and a few niceties as well. The location is stunning, looking across the Conwy Valley to the Carneddau mountains, close to Conwy and Betws y Coed, and walking distance from the world famous Bodnant Gardens (though the walk back involves some considerable uphill work).I'll definitely be staying again and will happily recommend the site to anyone looking for a quiet, restful stay.

Stayed for a couple of nights on a tent pitch. Large flat pitch, electric if needed. Very clean facilities and shop for those bits you might have forgotten. Lovely view point with picnic benches too. Would def stay again. Close to bodnant garden and the long sandy beach at colwyn.

Beautiful stay with the beautiful views

Amazing stay at Waenfechan Glamping & Camping! The place was spotless, very safe, and easy to walk around with beautiful surroundings. The views are stunning and the accommodation is cosy, comfortable, and well equipped with an oven, hob, and mini fridge. There’s also a handy on-site shop for essentials, plus an EV charging point which was a great bonus. Don’t miss the sunset viewpoint and the circular trail both are highlights. Highly recommend!

I took my partner here for a 40th Birthday treat, and a few days away to relax after the Birthday celebrations. We were blown away by the place and didn't want to leave . We will definitely return again next year. It was so peaceful and just beautiful. The weather definitely helped, couldn't of had a better weekend.

Response from the owner

01 May 2026

We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet expectations. We’d like to clarify that we did receive a complaint from guests staying nearby in a campervan regarding the music. They had chosen our site specifically to enjoy the peace, natural surroundings, and opportunities for birdwatching and photography. As noted on our website and in the welcome information provided on arrival, we do ask guests to keep music personal (for example, using headphones), as most visitors come here for tranquility and the sounds of nature rather than amplified music. With regard to the discount code, “APRIL26” was intended for use on our glamping pods only, as stated in the email subject line. We apologise if this was not clear at the time of booking.

Arriving at this site was like a breath of fresh air... from the friendly, helpful staff to the clean and tidy facilities and site. The wow factor here is the view...So be aware in windy weather there is little to no shelter. The facilities are good and very clean. the pitches are generous in size a fairly flat. There are walks direct from the site, however, be mindful that access to the site is via single track lanes
