Nice site not a lot to do there unless you travel but it was peaceful , toilets to be honest when we turned up were filthy ,where people just sorry for saying this ,poo and walk off without cleaning up after them selves and showers had a lot of grass in them . I personally found in the two days I stayed there dogs being showered and in the wash room ?
Fantastic place 😀 accessible is best coming off the B5113 rather then following satnav down the country lanes, when you arrive staff are amazing aswell as the sea view. Lovely clean toilets and showers and the hot tub is the icing on the cake with your own private under cover wooden sitting area ideal for if the weather not too good. When leaving we had a issue with the van and owners dropped everything to help us on our way that's why if I could I would have given 6 stars 🌟 rating.
Golden sunsets, peaceful views, cosy nights in the hot tub and adventures shared with four-legged friends 🐾✨Our stay at Weanfechan Glamping, North Wales was everything we needed — relaxing, scenic and unforgettable. Waking up to views like this and ending the evening under the stars made it feel like a hidden little escape from reality. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind, reconnect and enjoy the beauty of North Wales, this place is truly special.
Check was good, the site is well kept, clean and tidy. We weren't impressed with the toilet/shower facilities. The site wasn't that busy when we were there and the existing toilet/showers will struggle to cope with the amount of people when the site is full. We would prefer to have separate male/female facilities.Allso the toilets and showers don't have ventilation and one shower is bit small. On the whole the site is very good, it was just the toilets/showers which let it down for us.
This was our second visit to Waenfechan. We returned because of the remoteness of the site, the peace and the views, the excellent facilities. However, there is now a row of wooden buildings containing hot tubs across the top end of the site. These, obviously, have been sited on the highest part of the field with the best views which means that other campers are pitched lower down and don't get the benefit of views over the estuary as they did before. Shame, as while people are in their hot-tubs, they can't see the view anyway and they park their vehicles infront of the cabin. This ends up giving the whole site the feel of a row of wooden garages with vans parked outside. I completely understand why the owners have done this, but for us, it spoils the site. Having said that, the shower and toilet facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble with planting flower beds and troughs. Access roads are very narrow and bumpy and can be hair-raising!
Stunning views. Lovely clean and tidy campsite. Facilities excellent from the hut with hot tub to the shower block. 2nd time we’ve stayed here and would definitely stay again.
Bit of a drive up small roads , but wow what a campsite! The views are spectacular, booking in was very straightforward. The pitches are spacious and the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived. We stayed for two nights, lovely to come back after a day of hiking to lie in a beautiful hot bubbling tub. The facilities are spotless, showers, toilets and washing up all very clean. Even had washing up bowels and liquid to use if we had forgotten out own. We visited for our wedding anniversary and had food delivered to our tub ....gorgeous.
This is a lovely little site, quiet and calm. Love the hot tub for a rela. views are amazing. staff we seen on saturday was very welcoming and pleasant. There was a mix up with communication on our arrival which meant we had to go out to town for a while as we didn't have the kids this wasn't to much of a big deal, the lady was extremely sorry when we arrived back and couldn't apologies enough. site was clean, toilets and showers were great. I just don't like that they are shared male/female. only my personal preference though, doesn't reflect on the site.
Beautiful immaculate place . Great hot tub , great staff. Only issue which is being fixed is chemical toilet disposal point is out of order . Will definitely recommend the site to others and cant wait to return.
Great location with beautiful views. Perfect for a chill weekend lazing in the hot tub. Short drive on single track roads is a little scary but worth it for the views. There doesn’t seem to be enough toilets but there was always one available! Little shop has everything you need and there is plenty to see and do in the area
