We came as a large group of friends in touring caravans, I would 100% recommend upwood it has something for everyone, kids indoor/outdoor play area weekend entertainment pub quiz/Karoke and the atmosphere in the bar was 10/10 everyone was up dancing! The food was stunning and breakfast is the best one I’ve ever had, beer is a decent price also, The owner young guy if I have it right was down to earth and friendly he seemed to never stop working! Pitches are decent size ours was quite private too, The only thing I would recommend is it would be easier to send people there pitch numbers prior to arriving as we found it a pain trying to find the bar when we had never been and you also have to walk up as it’s not big enough for tourers so to save getting stuck and going in circles it would be easier to find pitch first and check in at reception after but besides that minor issue we loved it! We will be back.

Great site with fab facilities and lovely food in clubhouse - very welcoming staff

The Park is excellent and very clean. Its in a quiet spot but easily accessible to surrounding areas. The staff are extremely friendly.Geoff and his staff in the pub are amazing and they make you very welcome. The food is also very good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Clean , peaceful friendly site, beautiful walks nearby and plenty to keep the kids entertained onsite and offsite , we will most definitely be returning to this this little gem of a place

Staying at Upwood was our first ever camp with our tent and we absolutely loved it. The facilities are incredible and plenty of the kids to do. The toilets were clean and the shower cubicles are brilliant especially if you have kids to shower too. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Definitely one of the best we have been to.Lovely staff, beautiful clean site with amazing facilities. Great for kids, park football area and an indoor soft play which was a really good size for a holiday park. We had already rebooked before we left.

Toilets are superb and fresh and clean, bar and food are great.Ammeneties are second to nonePark is great for the kidsEven the tap water is spot on im sure they have there own well but not sure We even bottled some to take home lol

We can not fault anything at Upwood. The staff are so kind and always go above and beyond for all who stay there. The facilities are 5⭐️ We have recommended upwood to quite a few people now and they have all agreed with us. Thank you so much and can’t wait to stay there again

We will definitely be returning to Upwood Holiday Park. We had a great position with our caravan near to the children's play area, where our 2 kids spent a lot of time playing, and making friends.The staff were friendly and welcoming, the amenities were always clean and tidy. We ate once in the clubhouse which we enjoyed. There was also a karaoke/kids disco on one of the nights which was great fun. The indoor play area was great for a change of scenery for the kids and would be handy if the weather wasnt the best.Howarth is a 10 minute drive away which is beautiful, with some lovely shops and places to eat and drink.Cant wait to come back, we are already looking at dates.

This was our 3rd time at Upwood Holiday Park and certainly won’t be our last. It is a great site for families and in all weathers. It has an outdoor play area and football/basketball court as well as indoor soft play and arcade games. The clubhouse is a very warm and welcoming environment also. The food is beautiful and very generous portions.The site is very clean and well kept and in a great location also. We stayed in a touring caravan and the pitches are perfect. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to our next trip.
