Tu isaf is amazing, lots of space for kids to play and everything you could possibly need on site 👍

Taking a 1980’s Bedford rascal down to the remote campsite in the pouring rain was an experience let me say that much 😂 we absolutely loved our stay and if we are in the area will come again… maybe this time on the main site though 😂❤️ Best part has to be meeting Louis 🥺❤️🐮Love two yorkshire Folk ❤️

Good Basic camp site, easy access to Bala lake, town and White water centre

We really enjoy stay at Ty-Isaf each time. We are Kayaking so it so convenient. We also appreciate the farm aspect, the noise of the cattle and the scenery well!!!! It beautiful. Weather it's pouring with rain or sunshine, it's beautiful. Thanks gang 🙏

We came here for many years and stayed in the riverside field which is beautiful.There was a great many of us who met up here every bank holiday.Then all of a sudden everything changed.We were told that we were to loud and that we intimidated other camper’s by our presence,when in fact lots of other camper’s came over to join us for a sing sing by the camp fire .We played guitars and sang and welcomed complete strangers into our company.We have an age range of forty to 68 years old and are not a rowdy stag group .We had our young grandchildren with us who were very well behaved.We were accused of leaving rubbish behind when in fact we did our traditional clean up on our last day leaving absolutely no trace behind. We even videoed the site as we were leaving . Was spotless and the video is available for anyone who wants to see it.We even brought our own toilet cleaners and disinfectant for the postaloos .We were accused of tipping over the portaloos which are still standing in the video

Stayed here a few times. Love the river side wild camp field. Loads of space. Nice and quiet. Toilets were always clean. Our group will return again next year.

I stayed here for 2 nights as it was close to lake Bala. The camping fields are spacious enough with plenty of hookup and water points. The shower rooms were functional but in need of some TLC. The site is on a working farm and there is a lot of agricultural debris around the site that ,in my opinion, needs to be cleared up. In summary, a basic site that is rough around the edges. Makes a good base to explore further but not to spend time at.

Lovely site with great views and friendly owners. Appreciated the hot showers and the owners flexibility to let us pack up later than planned.

The site was nice and flat.great views. Everything was OK. I just felt the the toilet facility could do with an update. I did hear the showers where hot. Which is a must.not been put off . Just an update would be good.... the rubbish could be fance off . Did not look good

The camp ground is good. The pitches are a good size. The site is a working farm but had no problems with contact or if any ssues arose getting them sorted quickly. There is no shop on site as it is a farm. There was a couple of park areas for kids but it's not a big family park. Back to basics camping is what you get here. Toilet and shower facilities are basic, couple of toilets and showers in the women's area. If you want hotel facilities, this is not the place for you. They were cleaned regularly. If you have your own facilities, you will probably prefer to use those. Area was great. 5 min drive to Bala Lake and all it's water sports and train station, that has a steam train that takes you round half the lake. Despite maps saying you can, you can't walk around the lake and there is no lake access through the private boat club. Would definitely go back to the lake area again. Great for kids!
