Tudor Caravan Park is a quiet country side park. The park is set in a picturesque location - a short walk away from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, right alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal with the views of the Cotswold Hills in the background.
The park is ideally placed for excellent fishing and easy cycling along the canal towpath. Walkers can enjoy not only the canal but also the Severn Way which runs alongside the park or Cotswold Way 5 miles away. The park offer a variety of Hard Standing Pitches and Grass Pitches with and without electric hook-up.
The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping.
The Meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and camping in tents. We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.
The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing. The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills.
Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here for easy access.
Pitch selection incurs a £5 additional charge.

Brilliant place, lovely walks and pub really handy. Graham couldn't have been more helpful when we had an issue with our motorhome not starting. All staff were very pleasant and helpful, as always.
This site it a bit over formalised for my taste but it ticks all the boxes and is mega convenient for the Wetland Reserve. It has a pub, shop and cafe within a stone’s throw.
This is a lovely site on the edge of the Gloucester Sharpness Canal and given it's location and quality it is excellent value. From the M5 it is easily accessible and although the lanes are narrow in parts, locals are very willing to give way and we had no problems. The park is very well kept with ample space between pitches and a good electrical supply. The shower block is clean and heated in season (we were there at the end of April and the heating was on) and the showers were hot. There is a shop which supplies basics like bread and milk on site but if you don't feel like self catering there is a pub which serves good food and a great cafe on the canal towpath both of which are literally a short walk away. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is just down the road, but if that's not your thing you can walk for miles along the canal or take a trip to the numerous places to visit by road. We went to Newark Park (NT) and that had spectacular views and grounds and Berkeley Castle is near too
This was our 1st experience of Tudor caravan park. The site was very easily accessable with a caravan. Staff very welcoming. Good sized gravel / grass pitch with ehu .Water accessable from the facilities block. The facilities were adequate, but only 2 showers in ladies (& gents) with the annoying push button, ample number of toilets. Stunning location with the canal a 2 minute walk away. Handy pub nest door for meals and a very welcoming cafe across the road on the canal path. We stayed in the adult only area "The orchard". It is potentially a lovely, peaceful QUIET area apart from the constant noise of crows nesting in the trees above and their "deposits" splattered over the caravan, awning and car. They start at 3 am through to 9 pm. We would consider returning but unfortunately the crows and the lack of sleep they caused, along with the cleaning up after them are a deterrent. Maybe a pitch in the meadow is a better option .
What a lovely well kept campsite will definitely return.
Campsite we frequent every year for our agm, friendly staff very clean site easy access to canal walks, pub serves excellent food and we have already booked for October
It’s been about 20 years since we stayed here, better now than before, better than better most excellent siteBeautiful clean and pub on site was great addition Lovely walks along canal path and nearby countryside Spacious pitch and nice and quiet Definitely worth a visit as so easy to get to
As above
Assess to the site so easy for our 7.5m motorhome.staff we're so helpful and would stop and have a chat with you, no matter the time of day.showers and toilet spotless.the pub outside the site .nice warm welcome also .but the best was the walks along the canal and the barges parked along the canal, with the owners sitting outside and having a chat with you.just amazing for a glasgow city person.to enjoy will definitely use it again.
