This was my first visit to Tristram recommended by friends.Firstly, it was great to have the option to leave the van at site and walk to the beach. The pitches are beautifully maintained, spacious and clearly marked. The facitiies are modern and kept impeccably clean. Staff are happy, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Good choice of bars and restaurants, all within walking distance and for such a small group of retail outlets, you want for very little. A really enjoyable and relaxing stay.... will definately return, thank you Tristram!

Located just above the beach at Polzeath this is a great location for a beach holiday.Facilities were clean and rarely busy.Some increased policing of the quiet times in the evening would be helpful, also reminding other visitors children that throwing things around vans etc is not going to make owners happy if the van gets damaged.

Excellent position and clean toilets

The site is very well run, it is ideally positioned for a relaxing coastal holiday.

We always have a great holiday at this campsite! All facilities are excellent and maintained very well. I understand that this is, in part, due to people following the rules of the campsite, however I do feel that there are more and more rules each year. The emphasis on rules is starting to take away the 'relaxed holiday atmosphere' somewhat.The site is very safe and secure, however with the resurfacing of the tarmac path during the last couple of years, unfortunately large families have been allowed to bring multiple bikes, scooters and go-karts to use the path as a race-track. This year it was particularly noticeable and at times dangerous for pedestrians to cross the site. It is shame as the site was always relatively peaceful.We would however definitely return next year, it is a lovely campsite with great views and access to a wonderful beach too!

Overall a brilliant stay, excellent facilities, super friendly staff!For clarity, the site rules stipulate no pup-tents (which we adhered too), although several pitches had pup-tents within their pitches…are they allowed or not?

Have a great weekend at Tristam campsite and only left last sunday however I was very surprised to see that on Sunday morning when departing at about 11am the bins were overflowing with rubbish and the seagulls were having a great time I would have assumed that a campsite as good as it is would have ensured that this situation did not happen and if it did then they were on the case sorting it out asap That’s my only little gripe Other than that great site , perfect location , nice staff , clean toilets and showers and I’ll be back 👍🏻👍🏻
