A great place to stay with easy access to beaches, cycle routes and restaurants. The campsite itself is very large with a huge central area completely open. There is a small play area for children with a sandpit and swings etc. The pitches are really spacious with easy access to water and electricity if required. The toilets and showers are very clean and well maintained. The site definitely offers value for money.
Great stay - ideally located for local pub and short drive to top beaches. Campsite was clean, quiet and relaxed, with plenty of space between pitches
Lovely quiet campsite, not over crowded and has big open pitches with power, toilets are clean and the showers are very good! Great location for all of Padstows amazing beaches, we went to a different one each day! It's also walking distance to the Rick Stein pub that now does excellent pizzas on patio
This is our 5th time staying at Trewithen Caravan and Camping Park - if you love peace and quiet this is the place for you. With access to lots of beaches and Padstow nearby if you fancy a trip out on a boat or mooch in the shops. The campsite is well kept and pitches are spacious. We sometimes think shall we explore other parts of Cornwall, but we are drawn back here every year!
This was our second visit to Trewithen. The first being just after Covid. We found our stay to be very enjoyable. The whole site is large but not over crowded which makes for a more relaxed feel. Our pitch was a very generous size and great having the water on the pitch. The staff were friendly. The amenities are fine but something in the showers to put your toiletries in would be helpful. Also the area where you empty the chemical waste could do with tidying up a bit. However, I would still book to stay at Trewithen and recommend it. It is good value for money. x
Trewithen is a large field so there's plenty of elbow room if you like space, and most pitches have electrical points and drinking water which is so convenient. There are plenty of walking options if you like hiking; beaches are walkable too which suited us as we like a few miles of walking to earn a dip in the sea or simply sit on a sandy beach an relax. St Merryn has pubs, the nearest being about 15 minutes stroll down a narrow lane into the village. It's also a short drive into Padstow to pickup supplies etc. All things considered, we've stayed at hundreds of sites over the years, and this one is in our top 10.
Convenient location, great facilities on site and John and Sandra were very helpful and friendly!
Clean, friendly….relaxed, great views, EZ walk to pub…..not too bad walk to beach :) Defo coming back…..thanks nice peeps.👍
On arrival greeted by owner who was lovely and very friendly and directed us to our pitch. Well maintained and very peaceful site with lovely wide pitches so a feeling of not too close to others which is what we wanted. Washing shower block clean and great showers. Stunning views and loved the dog field that was great for our labrador to run about in.Felt safe and secure whole time there.Just up road from st merryn which had shops, garage , pubs and rick stein pub and farmers arms which had live music and a decent cider. All in all would recommend and will definitely love return such a lovely peaceful stay in a beautiful area everyone so nice and friendly we met.
Perfect for our first trip in our new camper van.Arrived rather late to set up. Not at all busy, so we didn’t disturb anyone! Fab views, loved hearing the skylarks. Electric hook up was faultless, water near by. Shower and loos warm and clean - but no hand soap in the ladies all weekend and saw no staff all weekend to ask. This was the only downside.Great location a short drive to Padstow and beaches. Thanks for a lovely stay.
