A caravan and camping site near Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland. All just a short drive away from our idyllic camp site.
Camping here is an ideal base to visit the local area, Lincoln Cathedral is clearly visible from the site, and we are quite lucky the Red Arrows often practice over the farm. There are many attractions in the area, such as Sherwood Forest visitor centre, the beautiful Clumber Park, Doddington Hall and a little further away such as Nottingham & Creswell Crags.
Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhome’s and VW campers. We have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group. We welcome BBQ’s but campfires & fire pits are not permitted.
The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We don’t have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.
Need electric for charging those gadgets? You don’t need to worry, we charge phones, ipads, laptops etc free of charge in the office.
Within a walk from the park are two pubs, the Ferry Boat Inn a 10 minute stroll down the tow path, and in the main village The Bee’s Knees, serving award winning ales. (It’s also famed for its gin library), both serving great food. We also have a nearby shop a short drive away, as well as a number of local take away’s that deliver to site.
The park is particularly attractive to those who enjoy walking and cycling, with miles of quiet roads, tracks and footpaths.
So if you are looking for an ideal base for camping or caravan site near Lincoln, Clumber Park or Sherwood forest, you are in the right place.

This is a lovely site and John could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The toilets and shower areas were very nice and clean. Our grass pitch was good and the grounds were tidy. We stayed here as it is in the ideal location for Sundown Adventureland, which is an excellent day out with kids! The main downfall for us was the access to waste area. We had a rented motorhome and this was our final stop, so we had to get rid of our grey waste before returning. Unfortunately, we were not able to drive right up to the waste area, and our hoses were too short to reach from the access point. If the entrance could be widened slightly, then this may facilitate motorhomes being able to get right up to the waste area.
My only slight and very slight issue, was the shower blocks were so very cold, especially with the time of year. All windows were open and I was unable to close them, so showering wasn’t pleasant. Albeit the facilities were good. Loved (but didn’t need to use) the payfirward toiletries in the ladies, what a fabulous idea. DVD / book swap fabulous
Very friendly staff as i said could do with a small shop and water point hosepipes could be longer thanks
We understand about the rules and supposed to be dog friendly site, you are not allowed your dog to foul in the campsite but sometimes this happens and there is not one dog bin around the site , the area is really good and the pub up the road is lovely great meals. The shower block is lovely and clean but the showers were not that warm as it is a press shower and as you press the button it turns cold again we would use the site again because overall it was a nice site .
