Tregroes Touring And Camping Site is a small, family friendly site, situated in the tranquil Pembrokeshire countryrside just outside the coastal town of Fishguard and close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Our site caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and basic facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point. Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, Fishguard has a wide variety of eateries to satisfy hungry tummies and is only a 20 minute walk away.

Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!

If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.

Lovely campsite, great location. Staff really friendly and welcoming, loved the evening campfire nice little extra when on the glamping section of the site. The on site restaurant serves really nice food, facilities were nice and clean, really apriciated the full length mirror located next to the plug socket in the ladies, great for us women with unruly hair. Will definitely return to this site in the future.

Amazing geodomes!

Pollard, Jennie - 12/08/2022

5

We stayed in a geodome. Two adults and two children, and there was space to sleep 6 comfortably. We were very impressed with the comfortable beds, bedding, decor and cleanliness. We loved having a seperate kitchen, bathroom and campfire area to ourselves. We live overseas so don’t have all the camping equipment required for a trip. Yet at Tregroes we did not need it as everything was provided.Highly recommended!! (One small thing that could be helpful, towel hire!).

Glamping in comfort

Livesey, Tracy - 10/08/2022

What a lovely site, not too big and it’s dog friendly. We were thrilled with the Geodome we stayed in, it was so spacious and comfortable. The outside buildings housing the kitchen and bathroom were very rustic and added a special something to our stay, just our cup of tea. We didn’t use the fire pit area but it’s a great area for outdoor seating. We had a top class Sunday dinner in the on site restaurant ‘The Pantry’. The owners are friendly and welcoming and it was nice for us to be able to eat in as we had our dog with us and he was welcome too.

Clean and tidy campsite with good facilities

Cadwallader, Lisa - 09/08/2022

Good, clean campsite with decent facilities. Great view out to the sea, if the weather is clear enough. Unfortunately we had rubbish weather so didn’t get the best of the site, but we would be happy to return.

Overnight stay

Connell, Dolores - 06/08/2022

We arrived late evening for an overnight stay to link with ferry next day. Details for our pitch were left for collection, we did not meet with any staff on site. Other campers were helpful with directions, some signage not clear. Nice campsite, lovely picnic/green areas. Toilet facilities excellent, clean with hot running water. There are wash up facilities and showers on site but we did not use them, we were travelling in a camper with car on trailer, precooked to assure ample parking. Would highly recommend this campsite especially if travelling to or from Ireland due to close location to ferry, five minutes drive.

Nice

Had an ok stay at tregroes. On arrival I wasn't quite sure where to go or what to do as I have never been camping before. I went to what I assumed was the reception area and the young man behind the desk was friendly and gave me directions where to collect my notice about what pitch I would be occupying. I had to wonder around nyself and look for small post with the number on it which wasn't very visible so drove around twice before I found it. Apart from speaking to that young man no one came to welcome us at all or show us where the toilets or showers were. After putting up our tent we were hungry and went to see if we could get food from the little restaurant on site (it was after it was closing) and the staff was happy to still allow us to order food. The food was delicious with a great portion. The restaurant was really nice, had small and cosy feel to it. The toilets and showers were clean. Overall it was OK.
