We always look forward to coming as.my.son.qill.spend his whole time off playing with others especially on the field with the football goals
All of the facilities, toilets, showers, food vans & staff were superb!!Normally struggle with camping Town Farm made it very enjoyable
Good stop over for the final leg of the Ridgeway. Clean facilities, very nice pizza from the pop up catering truck, didn't try the breakfast truck but smelt great!Only down side was no shade at all which during a heatwave made it rather uncomfortable.
We stayed as a group of friends and had a fantastic weekend. The children loved the playground and football goals and having the food trucks on site made everything super easy. We’ll be back!
Every aspect of my stay was fantastic, from the sunset views, to the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Stayed as a first camp before embarking on The Ridgeway East to West. Walked to site from Tring Station, taking the fairly direct 6.25km/1.5hr route via Northfield Road - that was a quite unpleasant road walk for the first half - in retrospect should have gone longer on footpaths or backtracked the Ridgeway.Very pleasant site, was quiet on the day of my visit so ample choice of space to pitch in large fields. Was very hot during my visit so a little shade provided by a tall hedge or a few trees was welcome, though this may be taken up at busier times. Facilities all good & clean, good showers. plenty of water points. Had a couple of things that, as a solo lightweight walker make all the difference to me - a couple of picnic benches where I could sit (again in the shade of the large barn), and a few plug sockets where I could top up my power bank. Pitch had a view of sunrise over Irvinghoe Beacon (Ridgeway start point). Overall all good, nice site, did the job for me perfectly.
It was so easy to book the campsite. I emailed a couple of questions and received a very helpful response immediately. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our pitch. The facilities were very good and very clean. We went to the Old Swan at Caddington for dinner and the food and service were brilliant. The views from the campsite were incredible.Very good value for money.Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
Our yearly go to with a group of friends - just love how relaxing it is
Friendly campsite with fab facilities. Not our first trip there and certainly won’t be our last! We love Town Farm!
This is our second stay at Town Farm - we tried another camp site last year but unanimously agreed (as a group of three families) that we wanted to come back to Town Farm this year and it was the right call. We were worried as the weekend we booked was in June so a busy period but it was fine. We had plenty of space around our pitches, the facilities coped well - plenty of room at the sinks and toilets. The showers and toilets were really clean and very few bugs. The washing up sinks were always clean and plenty of space. There are kettles and microwaves in the same room as the sinks and also communal fridges and freezers. These were very full so we weren’t able to get much in - fortunately we’d just brought milk and butter so it was ok. Really nice helpful staff and security. Food vans were great - would recommend pre ordering the pizza. Great to have a bar on site too. Love that the site is almost silent come 11pm & all fires out by midnight - great for families who need sleep!
