Excellent facilities (the kitchen is a very useful extra) and location for the start of the Ridgeway. It's only a short walk to if doing the walk from East to West to start so an ideal spot if you're considering starting near the beginning.Short walk into Invinghoe, pub stops serving food eearly on Sundays, but there are options further along the road. I tried and would recommend Woodz pizza.Very friendly welcome from the owner, who made some recommendations as to spots with shade and I was given the option of where to pitch. Would definitely go back!
Great campsite, has good toilet/shower facilities and nice play areas for kids. It’s about a 10- 15 minute walk from a lovely pub in Ivinghoe and close to the ivinghoe beacons for those that want to have a bit of a hike.
We loved our stay at Town farm. I went with my 4 children and dog and it was a lovely experience. The panoramic views were stunning. It was great being in the football field as the kids were always entertained and the trim trail, games room, and park were a hit too.Next time I would like to stay longer to really explore the area. Staff were helpful and polite.
I thought the site was well run with good facilities and friendly staff Ran out of ice cream in the shop though 🤣 it was very hot The lady in the shop was very helpful and chatty Great location for walks too Overall very good place
lots of calm wilderness walks on the doorstep with some of the best sunset views in the entire area. Top notch visiting pizza van and fish and chip wagon saves on weekend cooking. Gentle family atmosphere.
We had a lovely two night stay at Town Farm for 2 nights (Saturday to Monday) with our campervan on an electric hook up. There was plenty of space for our van and side awning, with two points to hook up. We had views across the fields to the Beacon and surrounding countryside. It was gorgeous. On the Saturday night the bar was open in the Silo and the fish and chip van arrived for a few hours. It smelt delicious. The shower blocks were always clean and plenty of space in them. The shared kitchen/washing facilities with the fridges and freezers + microwave, kettles and the like were brilliant. Not that we used them, but certainly will do next time. Bins were located nearby and nice to see that recycling was being adhered to. On Sunday Le quench van arrived for all your breakfast needs and it was packed with bacon, sausage and egg + good coffee.Staff were all really chirpy and helpful. Nice site, clean and well kept with lovely surroundings. We will definitely be back!
This is our 4th visit .check in was easy just pitch up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Weekend caterers from Pizza Friday evening to fish and chips Saturday evening and of course the breakfast van Saturday and Sunday morning. On site gin and fizz bar Including a few different beers. And not forgetting great facilities showers and toilets. Be back again soon. Michael and Jacqueline
