Beautiful setting and scenery, Greta facilities
We stayed for a weekend with friends and had a wonderful time. A nice quiet site with a gorgeous setting. It was great to have the option of eating on site as well as barbequing on the firepit. We had a lovely walk on the ridge.
We stayed here as were were going to Chilfrst in string. Nice site with plenty of staff around to helpThe small bar and pizza van at weekends were a great addition. Would definitely stay here again.
We use the campsite as a base when attending a local event and have been visiting on and off since 2014. Always had a warm welcome and over the years the facilities have been upgraded. Would not hesitate to recommend the site.
Though I only stayed one night with my dog I expect to return soon. Campsite is clean, the staff are helpful and the fridge/freezer/microwave/kettle were really useful during a very hot spell Showers and toilets were all clean and modern standards, I had no need for the laundry providedThere was not a lot of shade available was my only concern, but with the erratic British Weather this is probably not a frequent concern for visitorsMy dog and I had two great days of exploring the Chiltern Chalk downs and a beautiful shaded walk through ancient an ancient oak forest just a short drive away at Ashridge Estate(National Trust £2 donation to park all day)Entrance to the campsite was clearly marked nd booking online very quick and simple
I loved the freedom, space and everything working as it should. Please accept my apologies for the 2nd night payment confusion. Thank you for a lovely stay. Charlie - Grey VW in the back field.
Staff friendliness was excellent- everyone informative and friendly. Brilliant vans coming in both nights we stayed and we used them - good food! Toilets were clean in spite of the site being fairly full and quite well used. Good walks from the site, although did not see a plan of how to get to villages etc from the site eg Ivinghoe. That would be useful as would not want to trespass! The Barn was a good way to keep young people occupied - out of the sun this time as it was a very hot weekend. Altogether a welcoming site which we will return to (again).
We had another great stay! Couldn't recommend it more highly.
We had an excellent two-day stay at Town Farm Campsite and couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—going above and beyond by allowing us to stay a little longer on Sunday so we could attend church, which we really appreciated. The facilities were great: toilets and showers were clean, well-maintained, and never too busy. The addition of fridges was particularly useful and added to the overall convenience of our stay. The setting is truly idyllic. Nestled between the rolling slopes of Ivinghoe Beacon and a peaceful lower valley, the campsite offers stunning views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and enjoy nature. Our children especially loved the evenings, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit and watching the sun set—moments that made the trip even more special. We also found the campsite to be excellent value for money, and Charles, the owner, h
Enjoyed the site - great walking access to the Rose and Crown in Ivinghoe and to Ivinghoe Beacon and beyond
