Lovely Lodge with Great View

Brown, Rachel - 06/08/2026

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, which offered stunning views, clean and comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. The customer service was excellent—all our queries were answered promptly by phone, email, and on-site staff. Hiring a BBQ was seamless, and we thoroughly enjoyed a successful morning at the fishing lake, catching two fish. However, I wouldn't recommend this location for families with young children. The surrounding area is very steep, making it unsafe for kids to play directly outside the lodge (though there is a playground at the bottom of the hill). Additionally, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated, even though everything worked. We also had issues with the TVs; despite a staff member trying to help, we could only get iPlayer working on one screen. Lastly, if you walk to the fishing lake, we couldn't see any signage after the park, which caused us to get lost on the way.

Return holiday

Garrud, Paul - 22/07/2026

Great holiday again at Timber Hill, where we’ve been coming for over thirty years. Bit disappointing in a couple of respects. First, we were given a lodge with a shower over the bath despite requesting one with a walk in shower fir a disabled member if the family. Second, the small fridge had a broken tray in the door and a missing vegetable box. Otherwise everything was fine.

Fabulous weekend away.

Nicola, Kellett - 17/07/2026

The lodge was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for a family of 4 adults and 1 teen.We spent most of our time on the decking and outdoors areas. Very relaxing. Gorgeous grounds. We felt like we were in our own private gardens with a little stream at the bottom, ideal for the dog. Lovely wooded walk to the beach. Dog friendly beach with plenty of room and lots of rock pools for exploring. Fantastic for star gazing too, such clear skies. Great value for money. Will definitely be back.

We had a perfect holiday at Timber Hill. The lodge was set in peaceful, natural surroundings. The lodge itself was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed. We found plenty to do in and around Broad Haven, coastal walks, sandy beaches, castles and museums, and lots of excellent bars and restaurants.

Cosy log cabin in great location!

Hyde, Liz - 11/06/2026

We stayed at Timber Hill for two nights with our daughters. We had boat tickets to Skomer Island and hoped to see the puffins. Sadly the boat was cancelled due to bad weather- second time in two years! Nevertheless we managed to get out for a lovely walk along the coastal path. We cooked together in the evenings and just had a great time together. The cabin is like a tardis- looking small from the outside but very well designed to fit everything in. We would recommend staying there.
