Loved this campsite, the views are awesome. Nice and quiet and well maintained. My only issue with the site is the current system for the showers. Having to press a button every 10-15 seconds is quite frustrating. I would suggest extending this to last for about a minute each time instead.

I was disappointed with my booking. I paid £20 for two nights but only realised on arrival that campfires weren’t allowed. I had planned to cook my dinner over a campfire, so I had to find an alternative campsite and couldn’t use the booking.The restriction wasn’t clear to me when booking. Making it more prominent would help others avoid the same problem.

Clean facilities, good views, close to Watergate Bay and walkable to Newquay. Stayed a few times and no issues whatsoever.

Easy to book and safe secure arrival. Large plots for parking. Flat and great views. Lovely shower and bathroom block, plus kitchen clean up area. Fresh water, grey water disposal and rubbish and recycling. Lots of amenities for a very reasonable price. Thanks!

Our 2nd stay and booked for next year before leaving. All staff are very friendly with nothing to much trouble. The view over the bay is wonderful. On this visit the bar was only open the first two days but visited on both to sit and watch the sunset. Would have visited more if it was open. Toilets always clean and always plenty of hot water in the showers. Can’t wait to return. Thanks

This was the perfect location with just a short walk via coastal path to beach or by using road . The pitches are very large . We came in a large motor home with moterbike and trailer on back and an xtra guest with a car and still had plenty of room for awning and outsiide relaxing area with picnic bench . Shop on site with lovely fresh Croissants . Hot showers and a laundry room . They also have a sister site just next door called watergate bay camp site that you have full access to , including the pool , entertainment and cafe/restaurant. Very clean and well kept sites would highly recommend

The view is one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are fantastic. Helpful and happy to help. The little shop has everything you could need. I don’t know what else to say. I will be visiting again soon.

The location, facilities, pitch size were great. Facilities were spotless and very pleasant and the staff were very helpful & friendly. The washing up area was indoors which helps and was very clean. The views were also great. The on site shop was very well stocked with everything you may need. The only problem for us was that we were very unlucky with the weather and being high up and overlooking the sea meant it was very windy for our stay. It's a little tricky to find when visiting for the first time. A sign at the end of the lane past the main site would be helpful as the postcode alone took me to a completely different site. Booking was super easy and entry to the site was a simple process. I imagine we would have had a perfect stay if not for the wind, as we loved the site. We loved Watergate Bay itself too so will likely be back on our next visit to Newquay :)

Amazing view, good size pitches, really well stocked good quality shop, great facilities. Such a warm welcome and good advice for exploring the local area. Highly recommend in every way!
