Great campsite, toilets and shower area very clean. Staff very helpful. I would defo go back.

My favourite memory of The View at Watergate is the sound of skylarks singing all day long. The toilets, showers. And washing up area were very clean and tidy. The pitch was level, with my own electric and water tap. I saw there were lots of pitches with their own picnic benches, which is brilliant. The pitches are a good size too. The lady I met a reception was very nice and I really appreciated it when she noticed I was on my own and pointed out the emergency phone number if I was worried about anything. The site felt safe.There was a good shop and a short walk into Watergate Bay.(15 mins walk down a hill.) I loved it and so did my dog!

Second time staying at this site and we’re returning in May. The staff are helpful, friendly and hard working. The pitches are a good size and the views are amazing. Good spot for sunsets too! The shower block is immaculate and staff are forever cleaning and mopping the floor for guests. The food and drink on site is available for eat in or take out and the drinks are reasonable priced. The food is ideal if you want to grab something warm without having to cook. All in all it’s a great site.

Great place. Bit annoying being charged for wifi in 2024, especially when there is bad phone signal. Thats my main complaint.

One of the best campsites I’ve stayed at. Facilities were spacious and immaculate. Views from the site are beautiful. Nice short (10 minute) walk to the beach. And a bus route close by to get you into Newquay. Will definitely be staying again

Stayed here summer 2022. Location was perfect yet, pitch was too small. Next door was practically sat with us.Paid for a ‘sea view’ got a mud wall!Not enough room for all of us sit out at one time.No fires are allowed. Now I understand why.Kids had no area to play & when they did the only place they could go to was an unused pitch until the next arrival & even that wasn’t enough room without disturbing the other residents.Had to goto off site for them to play.Really has put us off coming down south for a long time. Too commercial for what we’re used to. So many nice places closer to home with much more room to enjoy & relax with a better price tag for a summer holiday with the family.

The fully serviced pitch was very large with easy to access utilities. The view is stunning as you are on the cliff top but that does come with higher winds as you are more exposedFacilities for removing rubbish and toilet and grey water are excellent and kept very clean. Perhaps add a bin for paper and cardboard to save you taking it to the shopLarge shower and toilet block is very good, showers are free and hot. Minor point but an extra hook or two would help in cubical to hang clothes up to keep them dryFacilities are very good with a site shop and cafe and the option to use the facilities on the sister site. Unfortunately the cafe and pool were closed when we visited in September but we appreciate with the much lower number of customers, it is not viable to keep them all running.We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning

Great site, with good little shop, clean facilities and short walk to the beach where there are many facilities.Very friendly staff, even phoned me in the day while we were out to inform me that there would be local fireworks in the evening, as she was aware that we had a dog with us. Hope to see you again.
