Very clean and tidy, good location to get out and about and the staff are very friendly and really helpful, it’s like staying at a friends place. We thought the price is very reasonable, the pitches are a good size. The local beach is a 10 min walk and is stunning. We are definitely going back…….it’s our go to place.

Stay no.3 at the View. As always all staff were very friendly and personable. The facilities, albeit fairly basic but completely adequate and fit for purpose, were always kept exceptionally clean. For us it is in an ideal location for either coastal path walks, which is a short walk down a road and then across a field. Watergate Bay is approx a 10 min walk along the coastal path one way. Go the other way and Mawgan Porth is approx 1.5 miles. If you need to shop for food Newquay is only 7 miles away with Asda, Aldi and Sainsbury’s stores. Price wise it is pretty much on a par with the majority of sites but they don’t have the same glorious view that we had. My only gripe would be £4 a night for the dog!! All in all we love the View...... and the view :)

The owners/ staff at the view Watergate bay are very friendly and helpful. I'd emailed a few questions before booking and their answers put me at ease. A problem with signal ( my end) caused an issue trying to book but again they were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. The site is lovely and clean the facilities are great. Took abit for the water in shower to heat up the one morning - only because I was the first person to use it so had to keep pressing the button for it to come hot.pitches are well maintained and we had ample space for a gazebo van and 6man tent. We had a pole break and needed a hacksaw they located one for us to borrow. The shop is well stocked with a wide range of items all the basics plus more. Although the cafe wasn't open yet, you were able to get some warm rolls and croissants in the morning.not far from the beach easy access to main roads peace and quiet was just what we wanted.

We enjoyed a lovely chilled long weekend break. Lovely clean toilet and shower facilities. Campsite a short 15 minutes walk to the beach.

We love this place, always try and come here when we stay in Cornwall, the staff are friendly and helpful, toilets are always clean, if you have any concerns or report a issue, it is dealt with straight away.All are visits have been enjoyable, it’s not far from the beach.The only issue from our last stay was the restaurant wasn’t open, but they have a shop which has improved, more things to buy, and you can order a breakfast as well

As it states in the name 'The View' really does have fabulous views.Pitches are generous in size and flat.We were very disappointed that the cafe and bar is only open in the school holidays. We chose this site outside school holidays in June to have a quieter break. Sited at the top of the hill there are no easy access bars or restaurants without a fair hike down to Watergate Bay.If facilities were open we would go back but not a place we would consider again if no cafe or bar open.

I can only say good comments about this site. Firstly and in my opinion most importantly, the shower block was kept immaculate. Cleaned thoroughly twice a day by a very friendly gentleman. Staff in reception was equally as friendly and helpful. The site was flat and kept tidy and the pitch we booked was large and we were so pleased as we had a wonderful view of the lovely blue sea in the distance. Shop was excellent but sadly the cafe wasn’t open. However, that did not spoil the few days we had there. Finally, the price of the pitch was very reasonable, even cheaper than the CCC site next door. I would definitely use it again.

Perfectly situated for the coast path and easy to find. Arrived late when Reception was closed and even tho I had no booking, I was still made very welcome and was given a pitch for the night. Good value for money. 2 local pubs in walking distance too, which was great to get something to eat and watch the sunset.

This was our first time at the view Watergate bay truly amazing very very friendly staff . Very clean. Lovely sausage BAP from their new kitchen. We definitely will be back . The view towards Newquay is amazing . Thank you all for a great break
