The grounds look neat, although the numbering of the sites isn’t very clear. The facilities are poor; the gate won’t open with the code (supposedly due to the hot weather), and the restrooms—including the toilets and showers—are downright filthy. There’s a lot of grime, such as hair and dead flies, and in the two days we were there, we never saw anyone cleaning. One nice feature is the café at the front of the campground, where you can have lunch or enjoy a coffee or glass of wine.

For us, coming from the ferry in Harwich (or returning to Harwich) your campsite is an ideal place to start a holiday in the UK. The rural setting is a relief after travelling a long time. Only the sanitary conditions are substandard. And therefore the price to high.

Dichtbij de Ferry van Harwich. Sanitair schoon maar sterk verouderd.Camping veld netjes. Camping in Engeland is duur.Restaurant op de camping . In Harwich en omliggende dorpen ook restaurants aanwezig.

Nice pitch and well maintained. Showers were 17th century, but also unhygenic. Looked like the washing place for my horses!

Booking was easy with no problems.Finding the site was a little mor challenging but possible. Some signposts on the approachroads would help.The number key system to enter the site is principly a good solution, but only the number pad INSIDE of the gate worked !!!The piches were clean, level and with electric with enough space to park.Generally a nice, well looked after lawn area.But the toilet facilities are 'after war' standard and neither inviting nor appropriate to the price!

No more comments. Without invest in better sanitary no chance!!!!

Nice and Friendly place, 15 minutes drive to the Boat to and from Hoek of Holland. Nice place to start your Yourney in the UK.
