Short stay of 3 days fishing, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, plenty of fish lovely clean site and facilities, cafe did great breakfast and sandwiches, good shop on site for bait and tackle if needed, all staff we met were helpfull and friendly, great value for money we will definitely be back later in year, maybe try the new pods next time instead of camper van. Very peaceful site in beautiful surroundings.

First impression of the site was spacious and well kept pitches, very relaxing and peaceful, only thing I was disappointed with was the toilet block, toilets were not very clean, we were there for 3 nights and don’t think they were cleaned while we were there. No toilet paper in either of the ladies toilet's and the waste bin for paper towels was full but site was so nice would return but use our own facilities.

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, quiet and relaxing, very clean and tidy, nice size showers and clean toilets, staff very friendly and helpful and excellent value for money, will be returning again

Beautiful site with good facilities and very clean Pitches are an excellent size .Adult only so the site is peaceful and quiet also no barking dogs .nice walks around the lakes.Will definitely stay again

We positioned for visiting Thirsk and the Yorkshire area. We stayed because of the location close to Spilman’s as we were visiting the Tulip Festival which was very good. We cycled to Thirsk which is a lovely town with many interesting shops and the World of James Herriot. The fishing lakes are interesting and enjoyable to walk around and full of water fowl and their young. The site has everything we needed for our motorhome and was very quiet.

This site is definitely in the top three sites we have ever visited,all of the staff were friendly and helpful,the site is so clean and the shower block was immaculate,plenty of lakes to fish in and a well stocked tackle shop on site along with a cafe that does a beautiful breakfast.we will be back 😀 Although we have a touring caravan the pods on site looked very tempting.This site is excellent value for money.

Great place great staff fab shop and cafe

We had a great visit to the Oaks. A quiet interesting place in a superb location. It was a real pleasure to walk around the fishing lakes and see nature first hand- observing the trees and wild life. I took some lovely photos. The.location of the site is also ideal and convenient for visiting a whole range of interestingly places. We shall return.
