Had the most wonderful stay end of September with my Mum and our two puppies at George's Gaff. The accommodation was perfect for us and our little girls who thoroughly enjoyed running round in the enclosed garden. Had lovely daily walks around the lakes and enjoyed the peace and quiet - a week of relaxation! Everything was perfect and we will be returning next year!Many thanks - Denise & Barbara

I have stayed at The Laurels before, it is immaculately kept holiday and fishing park. I brought my little dog Dudley with me and he had a welcome box which he enjoyed. The weather was good so we sat out on the decking on very comfortable furniture, and enjoyed the sun and the view. The Lodge was very well equipped with everything you need, the Lodge is lovely and spacious, it is immaculately clean and very comfortable, There is a Dog Walking trail all around the park with dog bins, The Park is within easy reach of Skegness and surrounding areas, yet you feel in the middle of the countryside. A very relaxing and comfortable break.

The site was close enough to enjoy the local attractions but far enough away to find peace and quiet,the staff i came across during my stay were friendly and very helpful,the shower and toilet block were kept spotlessly clean and very close to my large well laid out pitch over looking the fishing lake with a landing stage only a few metres from my door for me to fish from,the fish i caught were in excellent condition and didn't just jump on the hook like many sites I've been to in the past,the only negative point I can make about my stay is that as a keen fisherman and paying more per night than I've ever paid on any other site I've stayed on i didn't expect to be charged £9 a day for the fishing but having said that it's a beautiful site and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Every thing was exceptional. The staff friendly & helpful. The grounds well maintained. The facilities modern & very clean. I had one of my best fishing experiences on my last day there with some good size Carp and one so big it broke my rod. Will definitely be going again

Brilliant fishing 5 of us had knockup matches The owner Neil provided keep nets. Several catches of over 200lb and most caught over 100lb.Only downside is the nearest pubs are about 1 mile away, we managed though taking turns to drive and not drink . Great hosts can't fault the Laurels and be back soon. We stayed in Roost Lodge.

We’ve been coming to the laurels for 10 plus years and we always enjoy our stay ,we like to stay in the bigger lodge (buff) which it’s known as ,we feel the lodge is looking a little dated now and could do with updating ,blinds ,vinyl floor in kitchen ,curtains ,shower glass in one of the bathrooms the flush in that same bathroom , new cushions for the ratan furniture,and a bigger kitchen bin , and maybe some kind of storage /shed on the grass area for fishing tackle these are only small things and would not deter us from coming back as we have already booked for next summer ,the cleanliness of the lodge and surroundings areas and friendliness of the staff is second to none and we just love the laurels and will continue to return .

Very pleased with our stay at The Laurels outside of Skegness. Clean, modern facilities spread around the site. Peaceful location with scenic views across the lakes. Good little breakfast hut with freshly cook food most mornings. Would definitely recommend.
